[Gulfcoast Robotics] Rear Mounted Z-Brace Frame Support Kit for Wanhao Duplicator i3 Plus and Maker Select Plus 3D Printers

I installed this on my Monoprice maker select plus (wanhao duplicator i3 plus clone) and went flawlessly. Had zero issues with the installation, product installation instructions were provided on their website (nothing in the package other then to goto the site which I had no issues with.)Visually, I love the look and feel it matches much better with the printer and design then the DIY solutions. I like the flex/ball joints that really allowed for easy installation and fine tuning.Used a carpenters level to ensure that the rods were properly tensioned and held the Z axis tower at a correct 90 degree angle compare to the base. Extremely happy with the product and the quality.

I don't write reviews often but this kit is awesome. I was going to 3d print my own. I am glad I didn't. Not only do they look oem work work great are easy to adjust and came with everything needed to install nicely. Little expensive but worth it. Spend less time tinkering and more time printing

I'm sure it works fine, but I had to return it because it is specifcally for the MP Maker Select v2 "PLUS" (emphasis on Plus). This will not work for typical v2 models. I got the front mounted version for my printer and love it.

Very nice kit. It’s Easy to install. It does require a little patience, and a good tool to verify the gantry is perpendicular to the bed, before tightening everything down, but it’s nice and solid. If you don’t want to print your own setup, this is an excellent choice.

It does not fit properly on latest maker select plus 3d printer (bought in nov 2019). One of the bracket interferes with AC inlet socket. Contacted the manufacturer but no solution.

This took about 15 minutes to install and the difference is immediately noticeable. Fast movements caused weird stringing patterns on my prints, especially visible when doing rectilinear infills at high speeds. After a couple of test prints, I can say this solves the problem completely.I'd call this a must-have upgrade for anyone who owns this printer.

Great quality and easy installation. This bracket assembly is a must if you mount your filament on top of the machine. Even if you don't, you may want to consider it. I could keep spewing words about how much it helped, but we all have printing to do!

Makes a world of difference on the Maker Select Plus. More sturdy than the versions you 3D print yourself, spend the dough and go with the best option! This upgrade plus the Y carriage plate also from Gulfcoast Robotics has turned the Maker Select Plus (Wanhao i3+) from a $400 printer to something that competes with printers 3 times its cost!
