Works great
I have an insulin pump and my endocrinologist recommended these for putting in my infusion sets and Dexcom sensors. My insurance used to cover them but stopped and its too expensive to buy them through the pharmacy. I've been getting them on Amazon on a regular basis this is a great product. It cleans my skin really well but once it dries it leaves a little bit of a stickiness, which is perfect if you are having to adhere something to your skin.

Protects Skin Well
After reading somebody else's review, I took their suggestion and put on two or three coats of the skin prep, and let it dry, before I put on kinesiology tape. I use K Tape for RA. The tape is great, but when I take it off, it can really irritate my shoulders to the point of bleeding. But after three coats of this stuff and letting it dry, the kinesiology tape applied wonderfully, stayed on for 48 hours, and when I carefully took it off, there was only a slight bit of irritation. That's a huge improvement over what my skin used to look like after 48 Hours of K Tape.

Best barrier wipe around
As a type 2 diabetic, I find this barrier film wipe to be effective and easy to use. I protects my skin when I apply my CGM (Dexcom G7) and the over-patch. I do not use a barrier film, I get something that looks like a chemical burn/blister wherever the attaching adhesives touch my unprotected skin. The Dexcom CGMs are supposed to run for 10 days. It only takes a few hours for my unprotected skin to skin to react to the adhesives. This product has helped me immensely. I don’t have to worry about the intense itching and burning I have endured without it, previously. It is also a relief to not have open sores due to the blistering that can occur when I don’t apply a barrier film. I’m sure others have encountered this issue. I have also found this same barrier film as a spray. It helps tremendously. I just spray it liberally on the area to which I want to apply my CGM and over-patches, let it dry, then apply my device and over-patches, rub my finger over the device and patches to be sure the adhesion is strong, then go about my business. Lasts the whole 10 days without fear of irritation, itching, burning, or residual blisters/sores. I am much happier using this product. It is far better than any other product I’ve tried. I hope this has been helpful. - M. Murphy

Best skin prep adhesive!
This brand has been amazing for my son, who has Type 1 diabetes. He’s very active he loves swimming and playing outside and this product has made a huge difference in keeping his Omnipod and Dexcom devices securely in place. We never apply his devices without using Skin prep first. It provides a strong, reliable hold that lasts, even with water and sweat. Another big plus is that it’s gentle on his skin. My son has sensitive skin, and this doesn’t cause any irritation or discomfort, which is extremely important for us. Overall, this has been a game changer for managing his devices. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a dependable and skin-friendly adhesive!

Perfect for Securing Glucose Sensor
These barrier wipes are perfect. They ensure that my sensors stay on for the full two-week period. When I don’t use them, the sensors always come undone (which means I either have to go sans sensor, or come out of pocket for a replacement). I have repurchased these Skin Prep wipes multiple times pm and foresee myself continuing to do so.

Skin Prep Protective Barrier Wipes
This product works extremely well. I use it to help my Freestyle Libre 3 sensor stay stuck on my arm. I wipe area with an alcohol pad and let that dry, then wipe same area with the skin prep, let that area dry again then apply the sensor. No more issues of having the sensor fall off.

My mom is allergic to the adhesive for libre2, but these things made it feasible for my mom to find an easy space to monitor her glucose. Magical little wipes that serve as barrier between skin and adhesive if the livre2 glucose arm monitor. So happy my mom’s nurse recommended this vs the alcohol swabs that come with the libre2 products.

I am a retired RN and worked in many ERs. This product is amazing. Not only for ostomie care. I use it around wounds to make band aids stick. But do not apply directly put on open wound due to alcohol content. Wipe- let it dry - apply dressing / bandaids.
