A must have for diagnosing automotive and residential AC systems. Works great.
I'm really pleased with this automotive thermometer that I use for checking my work when I repair automotive AC systems. It's pretty self-explanatory with how it works but you just stick it in whichever vent is blowing air to see the temperature of the air. I just reference google to see what the AC temp should be when I start refilling the system with refrigerant. This could also be used in residential HVAC systems. I prefer this style thermometer over a laser thermometer because these are more accurate and it's easy to get an incorrect reading with a laser thermometer. This thermometer was a great value and is a must for any mechanic.

Good to Use to Keep Check on Refrigerator and Freezer Temperatures
We received them in good condition and on time! We bought several to check temperatures in all of our refrigerators and freezers. They work well. They will help us to know if the temperatures deviate from normal.

Works well but.....
It works fine as a thermometer and is accurate. However as others have echoed the dial is extremely small and hard to read, even with the magnified lens over it!!

Green highlighted dialed helpful
Works as advertized. The green highlighted section on the dial helps me see if the dial is in the area a little better since the numbers are fairly small.

Excellent product. It has a probe that you insert in the A/C vent so it measures the temperature of the air that is coming out, rather than having the ambient air included. In may case, the A/C air was 5 degress C colder, sosystem doesn't need attention.
