The frame is sturdy and I like the white. You do have to put boards down so the spindles are not felt, but easy to do and the grands like it when they come to visit

Very strong. It’s a metal bunk bed so it does squeak if you do t secure it to the wall. It is has a brushed metal finish to it but it is black metal as advertised. The instructions weren’t that bad but I have definitely read better ones before. It is as described and is what we expected for the price. Though we were pleasantly impressed with its sturdiness when 5 6th grade boy piled on the top bunk during a sleepover goofing off and it held like a champ (and I promptly made them get down lol) but we did anchor ours to the wall to cut down on the bed noise an ensure stability. 8/10 would recommend as long as you anchor it to a stud in the back wall.
