Finally!!
I've been waiting for a long time for a quality replacement for the absolutely terrible Elite controllers that Microsoft offers. I've endured through 3 Elites (all developed shoulder button and trigger issues, along with stick drift in a very short amount of time), tried the Turtle Beach Stealth Ultra (a complete let down with that kind of price point both in build quality and software), and 2 Razer Wolverine V3 Pros (horrible software experience, poor connectivity, bad build quality, even worse support by Razer). The typical offerings of third party controllers have been good to great in only a few places, only to be a letdown in most other features.Nacon almost nailed this controller perfectly. I had thoughts to only give it 4 stars because of some minor "annoyances, but compared to other offerings I had to give it the 5th star. Premium feel and build quality, face and shoulder buttons are just clicky enough but not so much so that it seems more gimmick than functional. Triggers are smooth and offer trigger stops that alters to a mouse click, quick trigger. The software to program is offered both on XBOX as a native app and on PC, and is intuitive enough to accomplish what you need to in remapping buttons and settings. Connectivity has been perfect, booting up the console each time the controller is engaged and turned on.It also comes with a dock, instead of just a charging cable, which is a nice touch. The dock can be a tad finicky to seat the controller properly, but nothing too bad. The added extra sticks, weights, and stick rings are fantastic. They apply with a satisfying click, and are easy enough to take off to change out. The weights are unique and allow for the right amount of heft that suits you, easily inserted into the hand grip portion by way of covers that slide off of each side. The minor issues mentioned would be that the battery life isn't amazing. Probably due to the screen, but you can remedy that a bit by dialing down the brightness. A lot of companies are adding 2 extra paddles right where the grips are that seem to me to be useless. I found this to be something that in on the Razer V3, and I had to disable them completely because I couldn't not hit them accidently. Additionally, the profile swap button is on the bottom of the controller right where my finger lays and I have found that I've accidently changed the profile I'm on mid game. Again, these are very minor, especially considering how long I've waited for a controller that gets me from ever having to go back to the trash Elite controller ever again.Lastly, at this point, no controller should be without minimum hall effect sticks, which this controller has. So they even check that middle Bingo square of the bare minimum and company should hit (see Microsoft who still refuses to put hall effect stick on a $200+ controller that is notorious for stick drift). All in all, I recommend this controller to anyone and everyone looking for a premium experience out of an XBOX controller.

Firmware update is DONKEY BALLS!
Well, it feels amazing in my "little" hands, despite many reviews saying it's too Chonky. I don't feel that the size is a deal breaker for those of us without large mitts. The clickiness of the buttons and D-Pad is fantastic. A perfect companion to my custom mech keyboard. You can really tell it's a premium device (and you should for $200!!!!).How does it feel playing games? I can't tell you. After it showed up a week later than promised, I'm stuck in an endless cycle of updating the firmware. The first try got to 18% and stopped. Second try I got up to 68%. Third try as I type this and it's stuck at 1%.The kicker here is once you try the firmware update, you can't use the controller if it fails. So I'm just stuck hoping that eventually I can get the firmware update to complete so I can actually use it. Will update my review at the end of this saga, which is going on 2 hours now.

I collect controllers and this one is next level
Had some issues getting it working at first. After a reset (tiny hole on the back), it's working flawlessly. Have SCUF Instinct Wireless. Xbox Elite Gen 1 & 2. Razer Wolverine Ultimates. Flydigi Apex 4. I have tried a lot of controllers to say the least. The Apex 4 was my favorite. WAS.....until I got this thing. It's perfect

Frustrating at first but good controller.
This is a tough one. The apps for both xbox and pc are terrible, and updating the controller took hours and quite a few tines of Uninstaller the apps and trying again. It was a very frustrating experience right out of the box. That being said, once it was finally updated, fantastic controller. Buttons and sticks feel great. i love that I can change the weight. The apps need some attention, and their generic support email respose was no help. Hopefully I will never need to use the apps for anything else.

Great hardware but terrible software
Objective opinion - The build quality is nice and the unit feels great in hand but the software is a hot mess and overly convoluted. The firmware update bricked the first one I received and the second one took hours to update. Once I got the controller up and running, it was hard to navigate the software to make any changes and keybinds as it's really finicky about which mode (PC/Xbox) it has to be on in order to remember the settings. And for my own personal preference, the bottom back buttons are not placed in an easy spot to trigger. Overall great hardware but marred by terrible software implementation.

The One to Beat
Look at my shopping history and you will see that I have bought almost every controller for all three of the big gaming systems not including my PC. Nothing has ever come close to replacing my second gen Core XBox controller until this one. This thing is amazing. Feels great in your hands. The sticks are smooth and responsive. The config software is easy to use. I am currently using this one for my PC gaming and I plan on buying another for my XBox. Outstanding!

Bricked. Dead on firmware update. Be wary.
Bricked & dead. Stuck on Update Firmware Failed message and nothing works to reset it. It has a pin hole to allow to reset the controller but even resetting it does not work. Updating it through firmare also does not. There was a forum on reddit that solved the bricking issue by disassembling the controller and unplugging the battery from it. But who in the right mind would pay that kind of money to go through something like that? Unacceptabble. Nacom launched an overengineered controller here and bricks it with its own firmare. Sometimes overengineering things just backfires. From a design point of view its not bad but I wish companies would stop using the rubber matted coating on these controllers. After a few uses it just looks horrible. Stop with the rubber coating trend! Its a scratch magnet.
