I love the shape and thickness of these nails! They are really sturdy and durable. The mini light makes putting them on easier. I’m so excited to try out different shapes and do more detailed designs.

Upon first opening this box, I was not impressed. My initial thoughts were nails too thick, not enough sizes, very toxic smelling glue. However, I did complete a set of these nails, and here are my thoughts: Nail Quality- These nails are very sturdy and seem like they are very unlikely to bend. They are not soft gel, gel-x, or gel-e material, but rather like an ABS plastic. I know the product says acrylic extensions, but I'm not sure if they are truly any different from other plastic nail tips on Amazon. The apex is an amazing feature that gives these nails a quality finished look. Size Selection and Fit- There are not a lot of sizes, and the tight C curve makes sizing difficult. This was a huge disappointment at first, but I made it work. I have narrow nails and did not expect the C curve to be an issue, but these nails are tight even for me. What I found to work best, was to choose a nail size that was one size too big, and file the side walls to fit. For example, one of my thumbs fit a size 4, but the curve was so tight that it was 1) painful, and 2) I was concerned that it would result in too much stress/resistance on the glue and might pop off. So I used a size 3 (less tight curve) and filed the sides to fit properly before applying. This worked well for many of my nails, but did require time consuming customization. This set provides 8 full sets of nails if you can find sizes that fit you. Glue- I did not risk using the included UV glue. I have heard very negative things about Beetles glue/gel products and the levels of HEMA they contain. I was unable to find an ingredient list and did not wish to risk a gel allergy. Instead I purchased DND soft gel-e UV glue and this seemed to work fine. I plan to purchase Après HEMA-free UV glues if I intend to continue wearing nail extensions. Light- The light worked well, has a sensor, and a USB plug. There isnt a lot of space under the light, so it's a bit tricky to hold the nail extension on to press out bubbles AND get your fingers under the light, but I made it work. My second hand was much better than my first. Because I mainly purchased this kit for the nails and the flash-cure light, I would give it 5 stars. Like any new product, it will take a few applications before I feel like I've "got it". The apex on the finished nails is gorgeous and really elevates the look of at home nail extensions. I painted my set with DND gel polish and hope that I get at least 2 weeks wear from these nails! 1 Week Update: These nails have held up very well. After a week of wear, all 10 nails are still almond shaped with with a nice point. Typical press-ons wear away at the edges, altering their shape, but these have not. I decided to change gel colors after 1 week to see how much lifting has occurred. Lifting was minimal considering how inflexible the nails are. I highly recommend the gel glue I used. After filing them down and removing the lifted nail, I reshaped the apex with my e-file (best I could), and repainted a bright blue for week 2 wear. 2 Week Update: These nails last. After 2 weeks, they were still holding on for dear life, with no signs of popping off or major lifting. My concern after this time, was removal. First, I cut the nails down with a false nail clipper, then filed the gel polish off with my e-file, then soaked in acetone. The nails dissolved within input 15 minutes and was able to be scraped/wiped off like I would regular gel polish. There was no visible damage to my nails, and no abnormal thinness 👏. Ignore the dry cuticles (from the acetone soak), and see that my nails look great! Maybe just need a little hydration.

Very nice The Beetles Tip Ex Nail Kit is perfect for at-home nails, especially if you’re a beginner. The tips are strong and durable , and the gel applies smoothly and cures well. My nails came out looking natural not bulky Super easy to use and totally worth the price. Great alternative to salon nails. I clipped and shaped them to my preference I love that these fit well on my flat nails with apex included already!I will come back to update with pics in about 2 weeks.

This is is crazyy good!!! Of course I saw great reviews, & I never leave any- well only a few on here (Amazon). But man did these STAY ON for WAY OVER A MONTH!!! I 6was too lazy & tired to change them & hella procrastinated to change or fill them in with Builder Gel😅.. but I'm still astonished by how STRONG & how LONG these stayed on! Although I KNOW it was the GLUE, but these are AMAZING QUALITY! If u do take my word for it(as well as many, many more on here), u will be 100/10 satisfied! About taking them off, yes it was hard! I had to keep soaking them in the Alcohol-Base remover Plusss my nail drill! Which is one of the good kind. Not just the "holding the drill as one piece" type of drill, but the bigger one! So that was kinda annoying. But at the same time, showed me where my $ went! (As a good thing!!) Taking the excess glue off the sides & under the nails; That was hard too! & I tried looking all thru the reviews to find other ppls tips & tricks... but had to figure it out on my own. Sooo.. This is how Iii took off the excess glue off the sides& under; I first took put Isopropyl Alcohol on the lint-free pad & wiped my nails & the tops of my fingers(the affected areas), then took the lonng pointed tweezers & I scooped (carefully) the glue OFF the under SKIN of my nails that got caught up in the dried glue. Then 'scooped' it off the other side - the cane nail part, of the nail tips. After it wasnt stuck(& glue) to each side of my nails, I grabbed it with the tweezers, & pulled it off. Some of them, i used my tiny but STRONG little scissors & cut off the glue as best I could. That part got easier after I figured it out (at least my own way bc it doesn't say how to directly "easily" & instructed way to remove them..🤷🏻‍♀️ Make sure you get the RIGHT GLUE for this if you want/ expect them to stay on this good!! & the perfect nail lamp that is perfectly portable to use freely, both hands. & you'll also find, you don't even need to push down on the nail for long at all. It starts the gluing presss so fast! Alao make sure to push the nail bath into your cleaned off cuticle & SLOWLY do a 45° angle to push the bubbles out - which is best to do for these to stay in longer too, & so it's done right & nothing will break or come off. But with these glue I don't think that's possible, but just do it right anyway(: Also yes, after I Prepped, I did use a think layer of 'Base Coat' / Foundation & cured then glued these on! & lmty!!, these are perfect! The apex makes it look soo professional! I could not recommend these enough!!!! I get many compliments ☺️

Great variety of sizes, and quality. They’re quite strong nicely curved, and don’t wear down super easily like others I’ve tried. I’ve noticed the sizes are very close to each other and I can use the same sheet twice since they have about 18 sizes per sheet and only 6-8 wouldn’t be used on my finger, so these are gonna last me the year!

Detailed review: I've purchased and tried these Beetles tipex, the Modelones tipex, and the five angels as well, and I can say these are the best. Here are the pros and cons comparing all 3: Pro: beetles has the most natural cutical area( being more of an oval shape as compared to the other brands which are very square and not natural) Con: Beetles does have the smallest sizes width and length wise, the thumbs (0's) are slightly to small so I use the model ones size (0s) and the length of the nails are slightly shorter. Pro: the Beetles adheres the best to flat nails especially with regular nail glue if that's your choice where as the other brands are still pretty thick and arched on the nail bed area. Con: the beetles nails are a bit flatter than the other brands, meaning the apex. But some will prefer that, imo it makes them more natural without having to sacrifice to much apex. Pro: the price you pay for the amount you get is the best deal out of all three. Model ones you only get 120pc and the five angels are $25+ Hope this helps. REMEMBER TO BE SAFE WITH NAIL PRODUCTS

Honestly, not great - they aren't very strong and they didn't fit my nail beds very well ,-,

so glad i found this, i haven’t been to the salon in months and ive genuinely saved over $1000!! i get better quality nails than the salons in my area from the comfort of my own home, their size range is so accomodating (only brand with a size that fits my pinky!!) and honestly i get more compliments on my nails than when i got them done professional. i only wish they sold a glue remover :)
