Short wires, no switch
The output wires are very short. I wish the device would have a switch (it drains my battery when not in use).

TOTAL GARBAGE THAT FRIED ALL MY LIGHTS BECAUSE IT HAD FLUID INSIDE TEH CASING!!!
TOTAL GARBAGE!!! I swear to GOD, I wired this converter up very solidly with 14 gauge wire and an inline fuse. I fired up my bike and it fried my taillight and turn signals!!! Upon removal I noticed fluid on my hand. I opened up the casing of this piece of trash and sure enough, there is some kind of fluid leaking out of it. I am so pissed off right now I don't know what to even say!!!!!!

reliable and afforadable
I've purchased a dozen of these step downs. Very easy to install and simple to use. I haven't had any Pro Chasers fail on me yet. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a step-down. If you don't need 100v+ step down, Pro Chasers has a smaller unit that handles up to 72v (about 1.5-2" shorter in length).

Mine came with only 3 wires from the unit
Mine came with Black (labeled "earth wire"), Yellow (labeled "Output Line") anbd Red (labeled "Input Wire"). It came with no documentatiion, so I don't know if the black wire is for the 12V accessory negative or the battery negative. I assume it is for battery negative. In that case, do I also run my 12V accessories negative to the battery? I came back here to review customer questions and everyone seems to have additional wiring for key on/off, mine does not have that and it does not have separate black wires for battery ground and accessory ground. I opened up the unit thinking there might be some easy-to-determine markings on the board where I could supply them myself but there are not. It looks just like the picture on this listing, 3 wires and that's it. If anyone knows how I might add the additional features myself (key on/off, accessory ground), please let us know. Thank you.

Total B.S at 15 Amps. I bought two for my portable fridge at 4.5 Amps. It didn't work. I did the testing it can only Handel 3.7 Amps.
