1/5 Stars: Received a Used, Year-Old Laptop Instead of a New One ​I am extremely disappointed with my recent purchase of the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5 during the festive deal. The product I received was clearly not new and showed multiple signs of prior use. ​Upon unboxing, I immediately noticed that the OEM safety seal was broken. This is a major red flag, as it indicates the laptop had been opened before. My suspicions were confirmed when I checked the warranty, which had only two months remaining, proving it was activated nearly a year ago. Furthermore, both the laptop and the battery had a manufacturing date that was nearly a year old. ​It's unacceptable to be sold a used, year-old laptop with a broken security seal and an already activated warranty under the guise of a "festive deal." While Lenovo did update the warranty after I raised the issue, the fact remains that a used product was shipped as new. This experience has completely broken my trust, and I will be extremely hesitant to purchase a valuable item from this platform again.

Overall a good laptop if you can get below 57K. Other than build quality everything is good soo far. Battery life is decent.

Everything goes fine ,display looks good ,sound quality is average ,looks classy and light weight ,but I get warranty issues and screen bleeding issues,so I return the product .please check after you get the product.

Experienced current shock upon touching the laptop surface the moment I plugged in the power supply. It even detected on my line tester. Also, distorted power socket that doesn't easily allow the charging pin inside. I think this particular model is faulty. Do not go for this 14" variant. Tried and tested. There is a high chance that this faulty piece is recirculating and it might find you next. Update: I bought a similar model offline and I had the same problem. Lenovo customer care promptly responded and told that it is a common problem customers are experiencing due to the 2 pin charger that resembles a phone charger, provided in the box which lacks grounding pin. They are now replacing it with a proper 3 pin charger adapter to solve this. The deliverable is on its way. The electricity conduction stopped with the 3pin charger. Also, the manufacturing date becomes the first day of warranty until the invoice bill is created. So you need to update the warranty by sending the bill to lenovo support. I hope this information helps other customers.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: The touch pad is not working properly and we don't have product key for activate ms office. The performance is slow comparatively other same laptop.
