not good if you have a lot of hair
I purchase this to braid my hair. It is a great idea but it didn't work for me. I have abundant, thick straight hair, but it was not posible for me to use it.

I was able to do a French braid for 1st time EVER!!
I have never been the one to be able to learn how to French braid and I never wanted to learn until my daughter was starting kindergarten. I knew I was gonna have to do her hair all kinds of different ways for the school year and French braiding is a common hair dew and for most people comes easy. Just not me. So I immediately started looking for French braiding tools. I tried actually learning French braiding watching videos and it was a total failure and then I tried the foam fork looking French braider and it was a fail also and then I decided to try this and it sat in my daughters drawer after I bought it for 2 weeks and one morning before school I decided to try it and if you look at the picture I posted to this review I have to say that for this being my first try with this at French braiding tool and right when my daughter was getting ready for school in the morning that this is a great French braid. Its quite durable and didn’t break and stayed perfect in her hair all day of course with some hair products. But I know for a fact with a little practice with this I will have it mastered. But the fact that I just took it out the wrapping pulled a little hair from the top front of my daughters head and placed this on the back and just started grabbing hair from each side back and forth WITHOUT even looking at any directions ( it just came as common sense to me I guess on how it should be used) is just AMAZING! I strongly and highly recommend this to anyone wanting to be able to do a French braid. Now note that I have NOT tried this on myself so I assume that is a whole other story. Probably wayyyy harder… lol. But for doing it on someone else, it’s not bad at all. Hope this helps. Good luck.

It works if you’re patient
It really does work. I did it on myself it’s just a wee bit tedious but if you take your time you’ll get it.

Cannot be used with thick hair. The loops are very small and only hold a very small amount of hair.
