Using for frying pans

You get what you pay for. I was espcecially needing an 8" splatter screen for my small cast iron skillet.With this set of 3 you get one for an 8" skillet,one 10" skillet, and one 12" skillet. Problem is *" splatter screen" is only 7" wide so will do no good for my 8" skillet..The sizes seem to run small.Also,the photos look like all-wire handles. That is what I wanted as I want to use these in the oven as well. SURPRISE. The handles are white plastic and melt in the oven. The up side of these is once the melted plastic cools you can easily pull it off and pitch it. Don't let the plastic hande melt too much, Just let it slightly sag.Then you'll have oven-proof splatter screens. You'd think a good company would come along and make a set of 4 useable screens, AllClad makes an 8".but it's $50

This really is a case of you get what you pay for. These are OK. They do the job of keeping splatter down. But they are flimsy. The handles are weak and there is a obvious point of weakness where the handle meets the ring holding the screen.I bought these thinking how rarely I would need them would mean I don't care much about the quality. After getting them, I wish I would have paid closer attention to the reviews and bought a higher quality item.I have washed mine (by hand) a few times now and they haven't started rusting like other comments have said.If you want a cheap item to try out that you wouldn't mind tossing in a year or so, this is the way to go. If you know what you want... then this is not what you want.

Had high hopes for the set of spider screens, but the screen mesh is not fine enough to contain splatter of any thin liquids or oils and handle heats up and is this a poor design. I have used each size 3 times and they are already discolored and not holding up structurally. Very disappointed and would not recommend at all

I have been looking for the 3 different size splatter screens forever! I bought 2 sets and I am very pleased as I have two homes with glass cookstoves. They minimize the size of the splatter. When I had only 1 size, I had to choose a frying pan or pot that fit the size of the screen. Now I can choose the size of the pan appropriate for the job. In terms of the quality, these screens are very good. The mesh is taut and well tucked under the metal that encircles the screen. I have the feeling that they will last me a long while with good care.

Being a grilled sandwich freak, this set is a must in my kitchen. The screen is excellent in keeping the grease splatter off my glass top range. The one drawback here is the handle/screen interface is weak. When washing, be extremely careful to hold the screen ring AND handle to avoid bending breaking or bending that connection. But, with very little extra effort this is a great AMAZON value. Where to put them can be a hassle. I put a large cup hook inside my cupboard door and the three screens are easily out of sight but available in an instant.. My PRIME membership had the set here as promised - in two days.

The splatter screen I had before was fine when I ran it through the dishwasher but this one seemed to rust or has some other kind of discoloration now, but it does its job and it was nicely inexpensive.

I love cooking but I'm terrified of grease splatters hitting my poor, innocent arms and hands as I stand over the hot stove. These splatter screens do keep the grease attacks from happening, however after having them only a few weeks they began to rust on the edges. I hand wash them because I don't have a dishwasher, and they dry immediately. I'm not sure how they even able to rust.So, they work well enough but they may not last long in my kitchen due to seemingly cheap materials breaking down so quickly.

Was too good to be true at $11 for 3, should have listened to the reviews. Didn't even get to use these, Washed them before 1st use, once dried.. all 3 were rusted. Sent straight back to Amazon. You get what you pay for, will buy an Oxo one. Refund provided. Terrible quality

For $13 I can't complain too much, but you get what you pay for. It is very cheap.

Work great. Love the 3 sizes. So far seem ok quality.

Good price, works well, cleans easily.Little flimsy tho.
