Looked and smelled great!
The delivered bulbs were very nice. They were firm and clean with a tight outer skin.I live in Maine so wont know until next June. I will update at harvest time.

Who you buy the garlic from matters!!
This is my second year growing Garlic, last year the Chesnok from a different vender did not do well. Only 50% of the cloves sprouted and the heads ended up being small. We threw away half of what we harvested just for being too small. We were going to replant the best ones but they turned black and looked weird. So we just threw it all away.This vender was way different. The heads were larger and definitely more firm/fresh. I planted a little over 7 heads, and within 10 days 80% had sprouted. Its been almost 3 weeks now and I would say over 95% sprouted.Im amazed at the difference already.

Huge stock
The stock I got had huge cloves. Altogether I was able to plant 32 head with one order - about 8 cloves per head. I did these on 4 per square centers and suspect that I'll get even larger heads once harvest comes.

Do your research
Be careful where you plant. I separated and planted all 4 bulbs in my raised bed before winter and all but 2 cloves froze and turned to mush. I hope that's just my lack of knowhow and not the product, but Chesnok is supposed to be a hardneck variety and be cold weather resistant.

Planters Garlic.
Nice healthy looking Bulbs / Cloves , all good sized. Looking forward to great germination from these nice slightly firm Bulbs. No off-smell. Each Clove looks nice and sturdy and promises a great harvest.
