Quick and Easy Set-Up; Mediocre DVD control
I was very pleased and impressed with how quickly the remote connected to both my (10+ year-old Vizio) TV and my (1-year-old Roku Express) streaming media player. I entered the listed codes manually, for both devices. In both cases, the first code listed worked like a charm. I'm not very techy, but after reading and following the instructions, it all went very smoothly for both devices.I love that the buttons light up, and are a good size to read. They feel just a little spongey when pressed (I prefer a more defined, firm, "click" feel for buttons), but it was manageable. When entering numeric codes that ended with 5, I had to push the 5 twice to get it to light up and connect. Not sure whether that was intended/designed, or a result of the spongey-ness.I also have a (5-year-old Samsung) DVD player whose remote had been corroded over time. I purchased what I thought was the replacement remote for the model/serial number, but it didn't work. It's possible my DVD player is old enough that dedicated remotes are no longer available. That was my initial reason for trying this universal remote. I hoped the universal remote would control all the same functions as the old, included DVD remote. This universal remote does power my DVD player on and off, and it does open and close the DVD drawer. But I couldn't get it to show the DVD menu (for options like subtitles or special film features). I manually entered every code listed for a Samsung DVD player, and some of those codes did work to power on/off, and open/close the drawer. I then cycled through the instructions to let the remote seek and find its own codes, with the same result. I tested a few different DVDs, but never could get as far as playing the movie, so I couldn't test pause, fast forward, or rewind functions (I saw only the opening FBI warning screen and producer logo screens). Maybe my DVD player is just finally dying, and no remote can help.On closer inspection, I realized that this universal remote's description and instructions indicate only that it will power on/off and open/close DVD players; there is nothing that says it can access DVD menus or control playback. It's possible a newer DVD player might accept more codes or connect with more DVD functions. So overall, this is a really great remote for at least TVs and Streaming; it may work very well with newer, fancier DVD players and other components as well. The instructions are clear, and set-up was fully complete within 30-60 seconds for 2/3 of my devices.

Great value easy to set up
Works great right out of the box with my Samsung TV and Roku box. I had to do a little googling to get it to work with my older Sony receiver stereo. But I found the right code. I definitely enjoy it.

Everything works but audio input function
It works well and everything works but the audio input function. So I still need the original remote in order to change input on the soundbar. It does not work with Fire TV or fire Cube but I knew that in advance. Nothing works with those except the fire remotes. Otherwise it's a nice remote for the money I just wish the soundbar inputs would work.

Works with Superbox
This remote is great for the Super box. It took me forever to find the code. I hope this saves all of you a ton of time and helps. I bought one of these and the Superbox wasn't list on devices. Once I found the auto programming worked I retrieved the code with the blinking lights. Superbox code is 2914. The remote will work on all my boxes. It also works perfectly for Roku TCL tv and my Samsung soundbar.Very easy to use with the lights. I wish it would light up with rise and wake (movement sensor) but it does not. It is till very easy to hit the top center button and the light turns on without changing the TV or Stream box.I bought more of these for every room in the house with TV's. Highly recommend this remote. Price is cheap too. Buy it and yourself will thank yourself.

Better than Samsung remote!
Bought 2 to replace the small remotes that came with new Samsung TVs. So easy to sync up and the backlight is awesome. Everything works as described and can now see buttons clearly if room lighting is low. Absolutely would purchase again!!!

Easy to program works great!
I just installed it for my Vizio TV with a fire stick on my HDMI2 port. It literally took me about two minutes to find the code in the instructions and program this thing it works flawlessly for both the intelligent Visio TV and then when I switch to the fire stick, it works for that. I don’t think I’ve ever done anything so easy in my life and it’s working perfectly. I think I saw some reviews that said it stopped working later. I will update this if it does but for now it’s working great.

It works, and is a good budget all in one remote
We tried this remote, and it functions as expected. I really liked the backlight, but it only comes on when you push a button, kind of annoying. I will say for 9.99 it's cheap, the cost of a coffee and a muffin. However the biggest drawback is it's clunky, the buttons are super stiff and require a lot of pressure to get them to function. It works, just don't expect anything modern or ground breaking.I didn't return it, but it's been designated a backup remote and is no longer used.

Trouble Using with Cable
My problem with the remote. -This describes my Sony RemoteOn my Sony remote I can select HOME or TV. When I press HOME the apps I pay for appear. When I press TV, cable becomes available but I must use the cable remote to access everything on cable.GE RemoteThis new remote continues to allow access to everything on my Sony TV. I press TV, ON, HOME to see the apps I pay for. The GE remote allows me to turn on cable, but I have to press 5 buttons, to turn it on, AUX, On, TV, Input, OK. Once it's turned on I must use then use the cable remote. I had hoped that I could use one remote for TV and cable, but it's not possible.
