UPDATE!!! Till the lights go out it WAS the Best hands-free magnifying glass.
I like the product - hands free magnifying glass. Use for reading, sewing, and manicure my nails - just to name a few things I can do now.. ............UPDATE!!!!! It is March 4, 2019. I have not had my lamp 4 months and LED lights are burning out. It would take burning the lights 24/7 for 3 1/2 years before burning out. If I could get replacement lights, great! If not, that is an expensive lamp for only 3 1/2 months. Those lights are in a separate container to be attached, why can’t they be purchased that way? Please, Amazon, explain.

It’s good
The flex arm is a little stiff so it doesn’t rotate easy. It’s a nice size and easy to focus. It is 110v only, meaning it’s not portable as a battery operated one would be. The LED lights are nice

Weak Goose Neck
I really thought the Magnifier was pretty nice. Until I put it together. The goose neck is so weak it will not hold the magnifying glass up. It just keeps dropping down to where it is unusable. I'm not sure how I will be able to strengthen it enough to hold the glass up high enough to use.

The magnifier is better than anything I have used thus far with my scrapbooking and coin books, but the light isn't exactly what I expected. I should have ordered the floor lamp instead so I could hold the coins, etc. under the magnifier to see them with the light. I have to bend the lamp way down just to use the magnifier and the light together. My fault for not ordering the other one.

Great light for working on small things.
It is very good combination of bright light and magnification to do some small crafts and reading. My grandmother really likes it because this light provides exactly what she needed to be able to see these small words in the books or newspapers. This lamp also has a heavy base as described, which is good because my grandmother doesn't be afraid that the lamp will fall down.

Gets the job done
Light sucks but I have a light so it isn't a big deal. Very happy with the magnifier.

Poor light source
The magnification is great, but the LED light did not meet my expectations. It was advertised as being the equivalent of a 60 watt bulb but does not produce near that much light, more like a 20 watt bulb. I have night lights that give out more light. I need a bright light and magnification to read receipts for my work, and this simply does not cut it. Thankfully, I have a fluorescent desk lamp that I can use with the magnifier to do my work.

Lights failed, one-by-one in 6 weeks & Goose neck not stable enough.
I've had this product for about 6 weeks.Magnifier is good. All 6 LEDs have turned off, one-by-one. diminishing seriously the usefulness of this product. Also the Goose neck is too flexible. A stiffer Neck would allow the now top-heavy unit to be adjusted to more stable positions . I'm disappointed. Would like to be able to order spare lamp units. Too bad... Appears to be designed with good intentions, but has failed to be what it's purported to be.
