Useful tool
This has been a super tool to add to my studio. Excellent for trimming pots. Sturdy yet comfortable to hold in your hand. Good quality and easy to clean.

Delivered early from the US. impossible to source in the UK
This shaping tool for pottery is exactly what my wife wanted for her birthday on December 1st. Because of the storms in the US in November damaging the factory I was resigned to it becoming a Christmas present however, it was shopped ahead of schedule and arrived early. Many thanks, it was perfect.

Always read the reviews first!
Ironically, the first time I didn't bother reading the reviews and it bit me on the a*se. Its dull, not sharp like in the listing pics. It has signs of corrosion straight out of the packet. It's a cheap knock off of what was advertised as being a "premium quality" product. And the 2 day delivery took 10 days to arrive despite being listed as a "Prime" product. Not worth the hassle of returning, so I may have a go at sharpening it myself.

Das Material ist viel zu weich und das Metall verbiegt sofort. Die Kanten sind komplett stumpf und es eignet sich überhaupt nicht zum Abdrehen an der Drehscheibe bei hoher Geschwindigkeit. Ganz schlechte Qualität und stimmt nicht mit den Produktfotos überein…

My mother is a professional potter and this is her favorite tool. She uses the different ends to trim the top of the dishes, and to level and trim the base underneath. I make sure to buy her one every 3-4 years because she loves them and although they don't wear out quickly and are nice and sturdy, using it all day everyday she does manage to bend them and dull the edges. Worth every penny.

Dit is echt een waardeloos product waar je nog geen kommetje mee kunt afdraaien. Het heeft de vorm van het origineel maar is niet geslepen. Zonde van je geld! Geen ster waard.

The item was not as pictured. The edges of the trimmer were rounded, not sharp and could not trim at all. It is a useless item. Sharpening the curved bit is too difficult. The item seems to have a baked on paint or finish. It is not the quality indicated in the title. This review is late but I only just opened the package.
