Well made. I like the little bug jar, the lid magnifies the bugs. A great box. A great gift!

The kids loved them. Fun catching bugs. Durable and cute. Educational they have you look things up.

This is a great item to give to young children interested in learning about insects. It is made well. All in all this is an excellent learning kit to study bugs close up. Teaching children that just because a bug might be ugly is no reason to be afraid of it or kill it.You do have to teach the children to place the bugs at the back before closing the door so the bug trying to escape is not crushed by the door. Also the tweezers (pinchers) should be done away with as they do not work. Children do not know much about 'gentle pressure' and kill the bugs with them 100% of the time.Excellent item!

Poor grasshoppers have been chased and caught and provided hours of fun and learning for the grandchildren! All the different pieces provided everything they needed

Cute idea but the kids aren’t really interested

I'm starting at a new school and hope you can get these back into stock soon. These are for preschool/kindergarten-aged children. Toddlers (3) can play with them under direct adult supervision only. The cage door is a bit fragile. One broke but not on my watch. I find them very durable and my preschoolers loved them.I filled them with rubber bugs and we talked about what they were. What color bug do you have? Sadly, I hadn't been in a classroom long enough yet to make a chart about each bug but what a wonderful science project for the future. I've purchased 6 so far and couldn't bring myself to take them from the classrooms I once worked in.This toy will allow you to open up conversations that allow you to talk about colors, counting, sharing, and geography. All of the pieces fit nicely into the bug cage. They practice fine motor skills when trying to pick a bug up with the easy-to-handle tweezers. Magnifiers open the conversation about big and little. Near and far.

This holds the crickets that I feed my bearded dragon perfectly. At feeding time, I just tilt the keeper, slide open the door a little and shake them out.

Cute bug catching kit ! Great quality and can be used for all ages ! My toddler loves the little bug pictures on the bottom of the little clear container too!
