Used on RV

Maybe I read too many other descriptions, and didn't notice that this brand didn't mention that there are only 2 LED lights per light mount. Not really what I'd consider bright either. And the reviews that mention replacing the included screws? Uh...what screws? None of the lights that I received came with screws, or instructuons for that matter. A base with 2 LEDs and about 3" wires (maybe 24 gauge?), and a snap-on lens that might, with luck, survive a ride on a smooth road. I can't, in good conscience, recommend them.

Much better than the old lights!

I used these LED Lights for marker lights on my landscaping trailer. The Lenses and the body mounts are made of good quality plastic of decent thickness. The LED circuitry is epoxy sealed and the lenses snap on tightly and securely. The LEDs are nice and bright. Overall I was very pleased, the quality was very good and the price was reasonable.Some recommendations:1) I can’t stress enough to use grommets for your trailer wiring; otherwise the bouncing of your trailer down the road will chafe your wires on the sharp hole. I use clear vinyl tubing and plastic zip ties.2) ALWAYS solder your wire connections and use heat shrink tubing to protect the connections. Crimp connectors often fail and corrode. NEVER use marrette style connectors on any automotive/trailer wring! They are for household wires only, not designed for the vibration from vehicular movement! Using them is a good way to get short circuits and potential vehicle fires.3) Discard the screws and buy quality hardware, the ones supplied are garbage. This was ok for me because I prefer to use stainless steel fasteners that I picked up at my local hardware store. This prevents corrosion, allows you to have a hex head fastener for an easy install and potential future removal.

Used this on our RV to switch out 3/4" button lights that were tied into the brake lights. 15mins fix for 2 lights, works great.

Good products

The mounting hole center distance is a bit less (0.05 inches) then displayed on this listing. I hoped it would not matter or may be a mistake, but it did not work exactly for me so I had to open up the mounting holes a bit to reuse my old mounting holes.I have installed them, but haven`t seen them in service for extended time. If they disappoint after time I`ll drop the rating.(Black lead was positive.)

Very good lights as replacement for existing clearance lights on our motorhome....easy install, and are brighter than the OEM lights which were fitted....ensure when wiring the lights that the black wire is your positive wire and the white wire will be your negative wire as instructions do not come with the package. If wired in reverse the lights WILL NOT operate.In addition, the red lights will have red led diodes along with red covers and the amber lights will have amber led doides with amber covers......would recommend testing them prior to install to ensure correct placement on your vehicle, trailer and/or motorhome
