Monroe Quick-Strut 471128L Suspension Strut and Coil Spring Assembly for Chrysler Town & Country

Replaced the left front strut assembly during a front suspension refresh. The original strut was worn and no longer providing consistent ride control. The strut received was genuine Monroe, sold by Monroe and fulfilled through Amazon. Packaging, labeling, and condition on arrival were all correct. Fitment and function were correct for this application. The assembly aligned properly with factory mounting points and installed without issue. Access to the upper mounting hardware is beneath the cowl panel; a wiper arm puller is strongly recommended to remove the wiper arms and weather guard cleanly and avoid damage. Using a complete strut assembly instead of individual components simplified the job considerably. Having the spring and mount preassembled eliminated the need for spring compressors and reduced overall installation time. Assembly quality appeared appropriate for OEM-style replacement, with consistent finish and properly seated mounts. After installation and alignment, ride control improved and front-end behavior returned to normal, with no noise or binding observed. Cost note: Purchasing through Amazon was substantially less expensive than buying the same assembly directly, with no apparent difference in product or packaging. Conclusion: A practical, time-saving strut assembly suitable for routine front suspension service on the Town & Country.

I got a used Town and Country with over 150k miles however Car model year is 2014 so there were tons of highway miles on it and it seems like struts and shocks were never changed. So obviously I noticed noise from both front and rear especially going over bumps, sharp turns, ramps and while breaking. Took it to couple of garage and got about a grand estimate. Obviously was too much money. Finally I did bit of my own study, narrowed down to Monroe brand for these items and they're aggressively priced on Amazon compared to traditional auto parts sellers. The order was delivered swiftly and I got it installed at friends Garage. The job was done in 2 hours and since then Car ride quality improved dramatically. I am hoping that it will last 50-60k and will pay off the money I put into this used Car. Thanks Monroe and Amazon for selling reasonably priced quality replacement auto parts.

So I installed these in a 2015 town and country last August...so not even a year and the ride has degraded to extreme harsh, I mean like worse than a loaded dump truck. Little bumps feel like slams and they shake like a dashboard at times....super bad....

These are nice quality, good value front struts for a 2013 Town & Country (and however many other vehicles they fit). The all-in-one quick strut makes replacement quick with minimal tools. If you're familiar with the process and have normal mechanic tools, it takes around 30 - 45 minutes to replace. The Left Hand unit is slightly more difficult to replace than the Right Hand due to the windshield wiper linkage above the strut, but you can do the replacement without removing the wiper linkage and without damaging anything. Of course you need to get the vehicle aligned afterwards.

Great product! The shipping was fast, the price was almost $100 less than local brick and mortar, and the fitment was spot on. Will definitely buy from again!!

The part fits and functions well, the only thing to advise is that while the original part has a round hole in one of the bolt positions, whereas this strut assembly has a slotted hole which can change the alignment a bit, so you should do an alignment after installing.
