PrepWorks Onion Chopper – Green/White, Standard, for Quick and Easy Dicing and Chopping

I have used this Chopper several times and find it works great! It's easy to use, but it does require a certain amount of strength to pop the top down in order to chop the onions. I suggest that the chopper be put on a chopping board or softer surface than tile in order to so your chopping. My only complaint is the difficulty in cleaning the blades thoroughly. The blades are VERY sharp, so one has to be VERY careful when handling the blades during cleanup.

The blades are sharp and it’s easy to use and to wash. I use this often. You can use this on onions, bell peppers, and other things you want to dice up. It’s plastic, but very durable.

I love this thing. This is my second. The first one fell off the counter and cracked. I was not going to buy another one, but I used this a few times a week. Evenly chops onions and peppers. I could use for apples and pears to if I need little bits for baking. Easy to clean. Just hit the lid on the counter a few times and scrape it with the rake. Then into the dishwasher it goes. This is a great item. Would make a great wedding gift.

Great little thingie. It made my life so much easier, I can do pies, lasagnas, ragouts etc. etc. in minutes which enriched greatly our menu. My favorite is "baked veggies with whatever"; I chop everything I have in the fridge, put it on a baking sheet in layers, add spices and salt and some oil, and bake in the oven until ready. Smells and tastes great! I bought already 3 of these. The problem is, the transparent bottom is made out of plastic that is much more breakable than the green top or the cutters. So it was the first to break in the two previous ones. Wish I could buy the transparent bottom separately instead of ending up with 3 green tops and 3 sets of cutters. The newest thingie had a plastic mesh that goes between the pushing pegs in the upper green part. Great idea, made it so much easier to clean the upper part, I didn't even have to use the white scratching fork on this new one. Also, don't buy the set with blades that are supposed to make long thin slices. It never works, you will have to push the slices diwon with the back of a knife, and the blades might damage the green pushing pegs. But the two sets of blades to make square pieces, one for smaller, one for larger, work great. Would give it 5 stars if it were not for durability. Also, last time it broke, I had to throw the whole batch of chopped potatoes away because the transparent bottom broke similarly to glass, in a couple of large pieces, and a bunch of smaller needle-like splinters that I was not sure I could take out of the potatoes. With all these caveats, and possible improvements, I love this thingie, it is so helpful and made my life so much easier.

This is the second PrepWorks Onion Chopper I have bought. I wore the first one out. You know how sometimes you buy something that is actually worth every penny you paid for it and more? This is one of those items. Chops onions and other veggies in minutes. Cleans easily and saves me a ton of time.

I cut onion in half, as instructed, I could not close lid chopper, so I cut it on fourths and still could not close lid to chop. Then my husband tried and it was difficult for him also. It did not chop, it only smashed the onion. Does not work!!! I’m returning item.

A very straightforward onion chopper. You have to be prepared to give it some welly but the result is just what you want - chopped up onions. It's a very well made piece of kit and well thought out. Easy to clean too.

This is incredibly poorly constructed and flimsily made. Do not buy

Gostei e pica beeem pequeno o problema é que parece bem frágil e precisa de bastante força pra cortar então a impressão que dá é que o plástico transparente pode quebrar a qualquer momento. Caso quebre eu mudarei minha avaliação.
