Great transplant tool
Why did you pick this product vs others?: Worked as advertised and super easy to transplant Bermuda grass in Texas clay soil. Plugs are very close to the size of a putting green hole.

It's ok
I didn't buy these to plant bulbs, so these were OK for digging out sprinkler heads. It helped cut the grass around it but couldn't go super deep around due to the design of side bar. It does help when the dirt is wet to remove, but it rarely pulled the dirt out with it like the image suggests so I would also give it the same rating if I were using this for gardening.

What seems a good idea is very difficult to use.. My adivce? Use a shovel or a trowel.

Good but depends on soil
As one might expect, this kind of tool is either amazing or less than ideal depending on the type of soil you're working in. Hard dry clay or rocky soil, this isn't ideal, but if you have that kind of soil you should know even a good spade shovel can have trouble, and for our expansive clay soil it's about getting it the perfect amount of dampness to be workable. But assuming this would be used for a dedicated bed with loam soil brought in, this works fantastic and is comfortably made, with nice padded handles and even a little ejector to limit the amount of bending one must do for bulbs or small seedling plantings.

Too flimsy
Too flimsy, this feels more like a toy for kids than a lawn tool, I'm not sure if I didn't use it correctly but I wasn't able to get a good plug
