May help symptoms of allergic reactions that cannot be linked to any actual allergen.
This is step one of my research into supplementing a Low-Histamine diet w/ the one enzyme that 1% of us don't have enough of so that we DON'T have to be on the diet; so far, my "allergy symptoms w/ no underlying allergen" have continued to abate, hopefully faster than just being on the low-histamine diet by itself. If you have symptoms above, the diet/enzyme might help you too.

Good value.
These are great for the price! They are not enteric coated, and very strong, which sets my MCAS flares off if taken as-is. But for the price, it's a good deal. So I open the capsules, and divide the contents into 3 doses, and then put those in enteric coated capsules. This works great, I get 90 capsules, 20,000 HDU each, enteric coated, to reach the small intestine intact. Most brands are not enteric coated, and without enteric coating, DAO does not work as well. Misleading Packaging
I haven't used this item regularly enough to discuss the efficacy of it, so my review is more for the packaging of it. The bottle is so much larger than the size of the pills would warrant, so the first time I received this item, I assumed the pills were much larger than they actually are. Upon opening the bottle, I saw that the 30 pills in here barely takes up a quarter of the space of the entire bottle, so it felt a bit misleading to me. I actually said "This is all that's in here?" when I first saw it. Again, this review is for the packaging, not about how well (or not) the product works. I've bought another bottle because you apparently have to take 3 of them a day, so you're getting basically 10 days' worth. So I need to take more of it to make sure it's actually working.

Best price for DAO enzyme that I’ve found! I subscribed to this one and take before meals that are higher in histamine (tomato sauce, slow cooked meat like bbq, leftover proteins, citrus, etc). I do think it helps me avoid some mast cell flare symptoms, so I’ll gladly take it!!

One prior to eating, experimenting zero issues since I began using this product just last week. I take quercetin too.

DO NOT BUY!
I only bought these because Amazon screwed up my delivery of my regular DAO and these were the only ones that were same day delivery. They are TERRIBLE. Set off my MCAS like crazy. Scary!
