Itsy Blitz Portable Blender For Baby Food, Handheld Weaning Processor With Bowl & Spoon For Weaning Babies On The Go

This product has been amazing, when I first started my little girl on food she loved it but always wanted what we had for dinner so I got this to put bits of our dinner init a blitzed it up and she had it! No wasting time trying to make a separate dinner for her or giving her the pre made jars. This is well worth the money such a great price no longer wasting food or money! The product is great and comes in a purple bag and fits perfectly in our changing bag so great for when we go for meals out just pop the food in add a little water to make it less dry a blitz away! This even comes with a little spoon that can attach to it and also covers the on button, charge is long lasting and comes with a plug and charging doc.

I've come back to edit my review (August 2022). I bought my blender in 2019, and you only really need to use it for a few months. So I packed it away for the next baby. I've tried to use this time round but it can't seem to hold a charge and won't work. It took three weeks to get someone at Etsy to reply to my emails asking for help. And I got a lame (we don't care) one-line response. Not really great for the environment to buy a blender machine and only be able to use it for a few months and then have to replace it a few years later. This is a very clever baby product. I bought this as I didn’t want to make big batches of baby food and freeze, I prefer fresh food and blitzing the food I make for our family meal. My normal blender was far too big for baby portions. Also, we went travelling for 2 months and took this with, there were regular power outages and we were never stuck with not being able to prepare Baby’s food coz the Itzy charges, and hold the charge, for days! I have recommended this product to lots of friends.

At first I was very excited about this product, looks great and sounds like a great idea, but now I have quite happy to put it back to box and give it away. We have used this processor for two months now, every day, three to four times a day, out and at home. Last week I have bought hand electric food processor because I just could not deal with this Itsy any more and my life is much much easier and happier now. With Itsy you have to keep on your mind the charging, as you can not use it while on charge and it does take quite while to charge it, so not very handy when you are in hurry and need the food now and just realised it is low battery. But the main negative thing for me is the size, it is just too small, it was ok when we started weaning for the first two weeks, but then I had to do it every feeding time again, because the bowl is big just for one portion and even that size of portion is only for start at the first few weeks of weaning. So this means constant washing and sometimes I had to do it all twice just to get one portion for our baby. And take it out is not really very suitable, we have used it on the beach, great, but the it is all messy and not easy to wash, in restaurant it is just too noisy, we took it with us on all holidays but I have end up preparing the food in the room and in that case, hand electric processor would be far more handy and easier to use. The spoon is waist of time, you can tell it was designed by a man so we did not use it all. So now with my new hand electric processor I can blend lots of more food, faster, without having to add any water, it can process all sorts of vegetables and fruits in all sizes, Itsy always got stuck on apple or even on boiled carrot if the piece was too big. This hand blender is super easy to was and store, I don't have to think about charging it and I can make a food upfront . I don't mind to take the food with me in the bowl and I am more then happy to take it with me to the hotel room. And I can use this processor for other things like home made mayonnaise, soups, smoothies, etc. And it costed me the same money like Itsy. So again, it was an great idea, this Itsy design, but really not practical for a busy mum, busy family and hungry baby :o)

Amazing little gadget, ideal for whipping up a meal for baby in an instant, I love it and think it's great, good price too, not too expensive at £39.99 but definitely worth it, dishwasher safe too, comes out nice and clean. Also comes with a little carry bag so you can take it out with you. Although I've not tried this yet, the quality seems and looks great. Only downside is I have Parkinsons, so when my meds haven't fully kicked in, I do struggle to get the bottom bit off, but that's nothing to do with the product itself.

Good little gadget but takes some getting used to. Need to add liquid for it to puree anything properly, also a weird grey liquid leaks from it after use, not quite sure why? Other than that it's fab and very handy x

I really love our Itsy Blitz, right from the unboxing! Great packaging so would make a nice gift. I use it nearly every day, the battery life is great and has an easy dock for the rare times I do charge it. It’s portable, so great to take with you out for a meal to blitz some food for your little one, also makes all the trips to the grandparents. I have a big blender but this is the one I always use as it’s just an ideal size and actually blends everything in the pot with no hassle

Great product! Has been a lifesaver on our recent trip to Mexico. We love being able to feed our baby what we eat and to be able to blend while on the go. It is easy to use and clean, I am really happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend to a friend.

I had to return this within a month of use because it stopped working. We are using this for the first few weeks of weaning, so blending soft vegetables. The blades are not big/long enough to cut through the vegetables, and we find ourselves shaking the blender to move the food closer to the blades for it to be effective. Also, after every use we get a dark green grease/oil around the outside lid where the blade swivels, so we have to make sure this is cleaned off and safe to use for the next day. The blades had then stopped working.

It.s a very good blender. It.s all what you need for diversification and after.
