Awesome product.
Put this in a baptistry and wow! It is doing its job. I ran it twice a day for 2 hrs each on a program timer and its still clean. Before every 6 weeks had to drain and clean. Now going on 3 months and water is clean and clear.

Good quality and size for price. Very good water flow.
I agree with the majority of previous reviewers comments. This is a well built basic filter suitable for a 15-20 gallon tank. Flow would be too much for a five gallon and frankly the size of the unit wouldn’t work well in a five gallon- maybe a 10 would be ok. The suction cups are strong - there are four which isnt always that common on this size filter and the two pieces - top/bottom snap together easily but securely. I thought the foam sponge inside was easy to remove and it looks to be of a mesh size throughout that would collect larger and smaller particles although maybe a bit more porous than I normally use in a stand alone sponge filter liwered with an air pump. I always have preferred internal filters rather than hang on back external filters. They are usually quieter and you can hide the fairly easily with decor and plants. I also like to use lids on my aquariums so internal filters are required. It has a regular electrical plug and the cord is fairly flexible and soft. The included instruction sheet provides an email address for support. There is also the additional ability to connect an air supply short tube with aeration capability and the tube and air stone are also included in the box which is nice.Few Notes:- The water flow is not adjustable.- The sponge filter did have a slight chemical smell - a bit of a petroleum smell just due to the materials it’s made out of. I would suggest rinsing the sponge very very well and perhaps letting it soak and then exchanging the water a few timesPrior to putting this in your tank. That’s why I knocked off a star.

Strong current, great for larger tanks or fast-flow species
This internal filter is very powerful—even at the lowest setting—so it’s best suited for tanks over 20 gallons or for species that enjoy high flow. I’ve tested it in both a 20-gallon breeder and a 29-gallon setup with different results.⸻🔹 POWER & FLOW SETTINGS:The flow is controlled via a turn knob connected to an air tube.• Lowest setting: Almost invisible water movement (no bubbles, no surface agitation), but you can still feel a strong current.• Mid settings: Inconsistent, kind of sputters between low and high.• Highest settings: Strong surface agitation with plenty of bubbles.⸻🔹 PERFORMANCE IN DIFFERENT TANKS:• 20-gallon long/breeder: Too much current for a planted setup unless your livestock enjoys high flow.• 29-gallon tank (fewer plants): Much better fit! The current had room to spread without overwhelming the tank.We ended up mounting it sideways to help with space and flow direction.⸻🔹 DESIGN & FILTER MEDIA:• Comes with a sponge that looks like a carbon filter (but not clearly labeled).• I added filter floss in the bottom compartment for more mechanical filtration.• The filter casing comes apart in different ways: some sections pull apart, others twist off—something to watch for while assembling. No manual included—just a labeled parts diagram—so expect a bit of fiddling during setup. The only clear instruction was to fully submerge the unit.⸻🔹 WHAT TO KNOW:• Advertised for 15–40 gallons, but realistically better for 25+ gallons unless your tank has open space and fish that like high current. If your tank is heavily planted or has delicate livestock, this will be too aggressive.• The power cable is a little over 50 inches long in case you’re wondering if it will reach your outlet.• Setup requires a bit of guesswork without a manual, but it’s manageable.⸻Photos show the filter mounted in our 29-gallon tank. I’ll update this review if anything changes with long-term use or maintenance.Package says it’s suitable for marine set ups too so I’ll report back after I set up my brackish tank.

Good filter, strong flow
I've never had a submersible filter before, we always used the kind hanging on the back of the tank. I like this too as a different method. It says you can use it from 15-40 gallon tank, but at a pretty high flow rate, I can't imagine using it on a 15 gallon tank, and think it's great for a 30 gallon tank. Easy to use and not too noisy.

Pump
It pumps 600 liters per hr which is about 160 gallon per hr so it’s not meant for a big tank, but it isn’t a horrible little pump for perhaps a smaller kids tank or a pond. It’s basically a power head that you use with an under gravel filter. It has to be completely submerged under water to work which could be advantageous if this is for a kids tank because it’s less “things” for the kid to have out to mess around with.

Works Well— Easy to Set Up and Use—Great for Small Inflatable Pools
This TARARIUM P10F 600-GPH Cold Plunge Filter Small Pool Filter is likely a repurposed or rebranded filter for large aquariums. However, it effectively keeps our 300-gallon inflatable pool going during our RV excursions with our grandkids. Since we've experienced some warm days this spring, we've used it much earlier than usual. This filter conserves water by extending how many days we can safely reuse the pool's water. Please note that we remove the filter before anyone enters the water for safety reasons (we are leery about the safety of this rebranded or repurposed filter for human use). The P10F features a washable debris filter that screens out solids, helping to keep the water clean and free from debris. It also utilizes UVC technology to neutralize pathogens that could potentially cause illness. Since no chemicals are required for sanitation, chlorine reactions on the skin and eyes are no longer a concern. Conclusion: This water filter provides us with peace of mind when our grandchildren are using their small pool. That's worth the nearly seventy-dollar price. Plus, we don't have to purchase chemicals for it, which saves a bit of money. It has met our expectations, earning it a four-star rating. I hope this review is helpful. Thank you for reading!
