First Stories: The Little Mermaid

My niece loves the book I got it for her 2nd birthday. The pages are colourful with some activities. Printing quality is really nice

A good book for toddlers to use their hands and get engaged in the book. Deviates from the story line, yet written in simple rhymes. Eye catching illustrations. Would definitely buy other books in the series.

This board is good for kids of 2-3 years. My niece loves the push and pulls in it.

Bought it for my nephew. He enjoys it. It has become a part of bedtime story ritual 😀

Beautiful pictures, my 2yo daughter loves the interactive push and pull tabs.

Es bonito pero demasiado básico . Yo lo recomendaría para bebés que empiezan a manipular libros de cartón duro .A mi hija de tres años le gusta por la temática pero lo ve en un minuto, ya se le queda corto .

Please note that this book is based on the Hans Christian Anderson version. This explains why the little mermaid has blonde hair instead of red and why she doesn’t marry the prince at the end. I probably wouldn’t have of bought it had I known. That said, my daughter loves the book as she doesn’t know the Disney version yet. The illustrations are great and it has a nice rhyming storyline to it, although a tad too short for my liking. The pull/push tabs are also fun for little hands. Just wish it was the Disney version instead!
