Melts well
Goes through the foam with ease. Need to be careful on how deep you go. Usually outline the tool and work from the outline in. Has a round stamp attachment that works great. Makes the bottom of the foam consistent. Need practice to get it where you like. Price was reasonable.

It is a nice device that works great. Too bad that it does not have the accessories that is shown in the picture. I could not find where the accessories are available. I thought that the one that I received was the only one shipped without the accessories until I read all the reviews.

Cuts like... well a hot knife through butter
cuts the foam inserts for my tool box cleanly and quickly

WARNING: You DO NOT GET all of what is show in photos
I should have listened to the reviews, but thought it was just a few random instances that can happen often. You DO NOT GET what it shows in the photos. You only get the knife and ZERO ACCESSORIES. You get the item in a box with plastic dividers mangled everywhere and tossed all around inside it, the area that are supposed to house the accessories as it shows in the miss-represented photos. No where in this ad does it day accessories not included. I will be returning it and ordering from the manufacturer, where I would assume they would not ship pa pile of plastic in an empty box with one item only in it. Not happy when I was needing this to use!

Missing extra tips. Not same as image
Mine is missing the extra tips that are advertised in the images and description. I will update this review when I receive my replacement (if it includes the other parts)

Works Great
Works perfectly. Gotta keep that tip clean though or it won't work.This may seem obvious, but the individual that was helping me clean up some foam seemed to need to be reminded after every few seconds, so maybe it's not!

Where are the extra bits shown in the picture?
Bought this without reading the other reviews to realize fastcap changed the product and it no longer comes with the extra bits. Unfortunately I didn't open the package for a couple months and now it's to late to return. I had to buy another foam cutter set that came with it's own bits to cut the sides, and I'll use this to shape the bottom. I have no idea why fastcap changed the product and doesn't offer the bits anymore, I can't see why anyone would rather have this product than the original that came with the extra bits.
