32 Grams of Protein?! Wow! One of the highest amounts I’ve seen! This arrived super quick! Pop some in the fridge and get them cold! Great to drink pre and post workout or just a daily snack! Taste just like Chocolate Milk, smooth and creamy in texture! Think a thinker YooHoo! Great to have by itself, with plain cereal, chia seed pudding and even overnight oats. Shelf stable bottle you can just stick your fridge with however many you need and store the rest away.

As an active mom, I’ve been a huge fan of Koia—especially during postpartum and breastfeeding, when sitting down for a proper meal felt nearly impossible. Their protein drinks became a lifesaver, helping me get clean, nutrient-dense fuel when I needed it most. I was recently excited to try the Koia protein shake, and wow—it did not disappoint. It’s so hard to find a protein shake that isn’t chalky or full of questionable ingredients. This one tastes amazing—almost like a chocolate milkshake! If you’re familiar with cacao bean protein drink, this has a similar flavor, but with a slightly thicker, more satisfying texture. If you’re into protein shakes and care about clean ingredients, I highly recommend giving Koia a try. Definitely a big fan!

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I had high hopes for the Koia Protein Shake, but unfortunately, it missed the mark in several key areas. The taste is overwhelmingly unpleasant—far from the rich, smooth chocolate flavor you’d expect. Instead, it has a bitter, artificial aftertaste that lingers far too long. The texture is another major issue. The shake is extremely thick—almost sludge-like—and the protein doesn’t seem to dissolve well at all. It leaves a chalky, gritty mouthfeel that makes it hard to finish even half the bottle. It’s more of a chore than a treat. If you’re looking for a smooth, tasty, and drinkable protein shake, I’d recommend steering clear of this one. There are far better options on the market that offer quality nutrition and a palatable experience.

Best shake I’ve tried! No graininess. Great taste and consistency. No upset stomach from it and the ingredients can’t be beat.

The flavor is great. It's a little chalkier than the vanilla though. I ordered both the chocolate and vanilla, but will be going with all vanilla in the future. Would love to have a strawberry flavor

This shelf stable version has a bit of a different taste than the refrigerated version. I had some jello like goop in it randomly. Probably could have shaken it more but it’s definitely different than the OG

My husband and I LOVE Koia protein shakes. This one in particular is so thick and creamy, it’s truly delicious! Makes me feel refueled after a workout. I love that there is a higher protein content in this bottle! A perfect addition to our routine, plus a treat :)
