Works well, good value.
Love this thing. This is the 2nd one I've bought (my kids "borrowed" the 1st one, lol.) Range and notifications work well for all types of police radars/ lasers.

Best Value Radar Detector
This is a great little radar detector..It works better than expected. This thing gets crazy loud as well. The suction cups could be better in the Texas summer, but my other radar detectors do the same thing. I bought this for my lead footed mother and her lead footed husband. They recently took and trip and it saved them several tickets, per my step father.

No Need to Pay More?
I was skeptical about the low price , but decided if it didn't work as advertised, I could always return it. I just got back from a 2,000 mile trip and I must say that this unit works well and it saved me several times from costly tickets. It gave advance warning of radar in plenty of time for me to react with little or no false alerts.

Nice for the money!!! Gets the job done!
I’m a super speeder… I had to buy this for our trip as the last trip cost me a bit… the cop who said I was going exclusively… I’d own if I was going that fast. (98) BUT I wasn’t.. so I had to get this to protect myself. It did the job. It gave me alerts 2 miles in advance BUT also from the other side of the interstate as well… so just know If it’s going off… one is around and slow your rear down! Winner for the price. I stuck it carefully to my dash and it comes off easily. My car is a smoother ride handles bumps well… if you have a jerky car stick it to your windshield. I don’t like cords hanging, so I stuck it to my dash. Make sure you unplug it when not I use it may drain your battery.

Wooooow
This thing is awwwwesome. It'll pick up radar from a loooong distance. Around curves, over hills, it don't matter, it'll let u know that there's a radar gun on. I was driving this morning drove & it was going off so I slowed down & looked for the cop. Turns out, he was at a gas station & was parallel to the road I was on. He wasn't even facing my direction & it picked it up, aMAZING. I swear this thing has the longest range of any of them. I'm buying my wife 1. Hiiiiiighly recommend this. GREAT price for such a fanTASTIC detector. Update- Soooo I found out that this does NOT pick up our State Patrol radars, but still well worth buying.

Stopped working after 2 weeks installed in the car
This has been my experience not everybody will have the same After I installed this in my car I would turn it on and off manually as I used it and it worked pretty good for the first two weeks. After that I would drive the car and continue to turn it on each time but I stopped hearing alerts all together. I've changed bands I've done adjustments on it and none of this affects the output of this device is still as though nothing is coming out of it there's something that's broken inside for sure and two weeks is a really short time to try to get used to working with something so not sure if I'm going to ask for a replacement or upgrade it to something else but this is supposed to be a decent model hopefully mine is an isolated problem and everybody else will have a better result

Reliable thus far
As good or better than my outgoing Whistler midrange model (that died after many years). Filters eliminate all the blind spot and safety system chatter. Ka is fine at a distance for highway use. Laser works, but it's really only to tell you to start slowing down and move to the side of the road. This is true for most detectors, thankfully most highway patrol can't be bothered with using laser since it takes an ounce of effort on their part. Suction cups lose their grip during the summer heat. Having a hard time finding better replacements, might be best suited for an adhesive/velcro dash mount of something more sophisticated under the rearview mirror.

Works as it should.
For the price it's hard to beat. Second day in and it picked up two state patrols using their radar guns on my way home from work. I will be purchasing the premium radar detector in a few months but this will get me by until then.

I took a long road trip around the UK and went through 20+ speed check cameras without a single alert from this device. As soon as you enter a village the alerts go nuts, so seems to pick up every signal out there except speed traps.
