It tastes like it says what it does. I've not had the water tested to see if it holds up to it's claims. However I've seen quite a lot of review videos and it seems to be above the average apart from a few claiming aluminium albeit they say it's to do with the medium that filters out fluoride. I'm well impressed at the moment as I'm doing the best I can in rented accommodation. I've a tap filter and then put that filtered water into this and I have to say it does taste good !

Really impressed with this filter system, had no problem putting all the parts together really easy to set up. No tastes of chlorine, water tastes lovely. 👍

Great product

When this arrived I followed the cleaning instructions for first use, but the water didn't taste very nice and had a white cloudy sediment at the bottom of the drum. I had to empty and repeat the process 4 times before the water finally looked and tasted fresh. Now I am very happy with it! It produces fresh tasting Alkaline Water, which I decant into glass bottles daily and store in the fridge. I would have preferred it if the storage drums weren't made of plastic but I suppose it would have been too heavy if it was made of glass. Please note this is a large water purifier so make sure you have the room for it - I keep mine in the utility room next to the sink so I can refill it easily

If you’re someone who loves the taste of tap but slightly refined this is the product for you. I unfortunately cannot tolerate the taste of it and after using two ph measurements, I had no reading that show it was alkalised by the minerals or filter. It literally had the same reading as the tap I have. I also noticed my filter is different to the they’ve displayed on there images but I was told it was the newer model. Well I’ve concluded that this machine is only creating filtered water and nothing more. I could get the same result with a more affordable filter. I was really looking forward to this machine and getting the freshness of water I was looking for. I install everything correct as per manufacturer instructions.

It's a shame there is not a full description of this product plus the health benefits, as it really does sell itself! I am both delighted with the product and service I have received from this Amazon reseller and will be recommending to my friends and anyone else who has an interest in their good health. I first came across an Australian version of this water filter, and thought it was wonderful, but it cost in excess of £300, so I was delighted to come across this virtually identical model.

This is my water purification system. It starts with the Santivia water filter to remove Chlorine, Fluoride, and other toxins while remineralizing with the included stones. Once it's filtered I let it fall into my beverage serving containers to get more oxygen into it and at this point further remineralize the container with an electrolyte. The one I've been using lately is Aussie Trace Minerals but I'm sure there's many good ones. After this, the water sits in my glass containers in the sunlight to do some more purifying and remineralizing with stones. One has the black shungite stones the other has rose quartz, clear quartz, and amethyst. Based on what I've read, this last step should restructure the water to make it hydrate your cells better. Storing it in containers as it filters also ensure I always have plenty of water without running low. I really like the taste of this water, the difference between the crystal or shungite water is very minimal. Shungite tastes a bit sweet, a very very little bit sweet. The crystal water tastes a bit thicker. It's really upped my coffee game too. Coffee tastes way better with this water. I even drop some trace minerals in my Cafe bought coffee and it improves the taste.

Happy with the taste and quality of the water after filtration. The flouride filter was a main selling point for me, the water clarity and taste is definitely improved much over direct from the tap water. Assembly is fairly simple, but there are a couple of things to look out for. First, the washers on the spigot are clear and can fall off when removing from the plastic bag. So, be very aware of the washers and keep track of them. Secondly, I had to disassemble and redo a couple of times due to slight drip leak. But, after the second reassembly, the spigot has been leak free. Overall, if you cannot spend thousands of dollars on a water filtration system, then this product by Santevia is a great deal for what you receive. Excellent tasting and refreshing water.
