Change of heart
Worked 3 months and quit. Not worth money 😕 I thought my unit had cashed, but I read and considered the new footswitch. This cable made a great difference! Old footswitch worked perfectly 🥰It was the cable, not the footswitch.

Works with Hartke Loop HL-77!
Nice little footswitch, works just fine with the Hartke HL77 Looper. It's wide enough to be stable, but won't take up too much room on your board. If the cable they included had right-angle connectors instead of straight, that would be much better.Another bonus would be if they included some overlays/stickers for the buttons - to show what each button is for.Either blanks to make your own, or pre-printed for popular controllers....Left button:Stop - Press the external pedal once to stop during recording, overdubbing and playback. This is the same function as double-pressing the HL77 footswitch.Tap Tempo - Press the external pedal repeatedly to set the tempo while the HL77 is not playing a loop.Clear Loop - Press and hold the external pedal to clear all of the recordings that have not been saved.Right button - Change Loop memory locationsPattern Up - Short press the external pedal.Pattern Down - Press the external pedal twice within 1 sec.--- According to the manual, it is supposed to change drum patterns as well, but doesn't. Still need to use the pattern up/down buttons on the pedal itself

GT1 users do not buy it!
I am updating this review to 5 star due to the AMAZING customer support. The product is very well made and I tried on my own risk. I have a GT1 and BOSS recommends using only their pedal, but as they are expensive I tried this one. The pedal works if you try to assign some banks but it messes with the GT1 system. I tried to put the pedal to control patches and when I hit the pedal the GT1 got crazy to pass the patches indefinitely. After the first usage, I noted some lost in sound output in my GT1, which lead me to do a hard reset in my equipment. I hope that I did not screw my multi-effects for good. The seller is very honest about his product when says that he does not know if the product will in fact work. It might work for other multi-effects but definitely not for a boss GT1.UPDATE: My Gt1 is fine. Let me explain why I believed that this pedal would work with my gt1 because of you guys announced that this switch is compatible with the Boss drum machine. So, I went to the manual on the Boss drum machine and I saw that the Boss drum machine and gt1 the same type of external switch. So I assume that it works in one, your switch would work on the other one. I was a long shot, but boss sometimes is weird.Thank you for your incredible support,Tiago.

Nicely built compact unit for a low price
This comes in nice packaging, the unit is small, but weighty enough that it shouldn't slide around too much, and it has a rubber pad that covers nearly the whole base of the unit, which should also cut down on sliding. The switches feel solid. All in all a nice product. However:Unfortunately I was hoping to use this with a Boss RC-3 looper, but although the switches ARE non-latching, they are normally open, and not normally closed as required for the RC-3 looper. The switches in the case can't be re-wired to normally closed as they only have 2 terminals, so I am going to try getting some replacement switches to go in there. If this worked with the looper I'd definitely give it 5 stars, so the minus 1 star is actually for the description that didn't have enough detail for me to know whether it was going to suit my needs. To the seller: Thank you for a great product, I am happy with it, and will hopefully get it re-wired. Please consider updating the description to include that the switches are normally open.

Works well with Roland SPD-SX
Bought this to work with my Roland SPD-SX. You do have to go into your Roland's settings and change polarity of foot switch (otherwise it triggers on the release of switch, not the press). Works great. Seems to be well built. Rubber padding on bottom prevents the unit from sliding around on the floor during use.Only gave it four stars because the print on the unit is stupid and misleading. I understand it's designed with loopers in mind, but it can be used for so much more. Why imply restriction of use? Going to remove it and repaint it eventually.

Worked great, but didn’t last
I bought this footswitch to use with the Line 6 HX Stomp as an extra control switch plugged into Exp 1. It did the job well for five months of LIGHT use (2-3x a week). Then one of the switches just stopped working. The same thing happened with the Moskey two button switch, except that one was dead on arrival. I will notbuy another one. I’ll buy a higher quality brand that uses better electrical components next time.

Absolutely works with Beat Buddy Mini
Some people claim it does not work with Beat Buddy or Beat Buddy Mini. It absolutely does, you just need to use a stereo patch cable. The cable provided with this footswitch IS a stereo cable. If you try to use a regular guitar pedal cable it won't work. Good footswitch, good price, well built. I have used it in practice and live and it works flawlessly.

Works well with one annoyance
A good alternative to the expensive Boss dual switch. I’m using it with a Boss DR-3 drum machine and it works fine.I deducted one star because it comes with an extremely short cable. The switch needs to be right next to whatever it’s controlling, which didn’t work for my setup. So I had to buy another 5’ cable. But even with that it’s still $30 cheaper than the Boss pedal and it works.
