This smart ceiling fan is about half the weight of a traditional 52" ceiling fan. The motor is small, quiet, and very fast. On the lowest fan speed setting, the fan still spins fast and there's no way to decrease the fan speed further. It's made of metal and has a modern but not distracting appearance. The LED light panel is not bright enough to provide sufficient lighting for an average-sized room, and it doesn't support E26 or candelabra bulbs. The fan comes with a blade balancing kit which I didn't need to use. The instruction manual included with the fan is difficult to understand, but there are many pictures to illustrate the assembly/installation process. It took about 30 minutes to assemble the fan, and depending on your experience level and whether you're doing a new install or replacing an existing ceiling fan, the installation time is variable. There are two down rods provided with the fan: 6" and 10". The wires to connect the fan to the house electrical wiring can only accommodate down rods up to 10" in length, so for longer down rods, you'll need to add length to the wires. The RF/Bluetooth receiver for the fan is installed within the ceiling bracket mount of the fan, so make certain that the house electrical wiring for the fan has adequate clearance when you install the bracket. The fan operates either by remote control or by mobile phone app (via Bluetooth). The remote controller works out-of-the-box. To use the mobile phone app: 1. Scan the QR code shown in the instruction manual and download the app for your phone. 2. Allow the app to use Bluetooth. 3. Press the + button at the bottom of the screen to add a fan. 4. Type in the name of the fan and press Confirm. 5. Press on the name of the fan to view the dashboard. 6. Use the wall switch to turn OFF the fan. 7. Use the wall switch to turn ON the fan, and then press the Pair button on the mobile phone app. 8. The fan light will flash twice to indicate that pairing was successful. You can now use the mobile phone app to control the fan. You can add additional fans to the mobile phone app by repeating Steps 3-8. The wall switch needs to be kept in the ON position in order to operate the ceiling fan (either by remote control or mobile phone app). Overall, this smart ceiling fan is a good value for the price.

Ok, I'm impressed. Maybe I'm just used to ancient tech ceiling fans but this thing rocks. It took a few hours to get this thing fully installed but it was it worth it. I did have to put some soft insulation strips around the top edge of the base plate cover to silence the rattling from any wobble but now its completely silent even at its highest speed which pushes so much more air than I imagine it would. It's so compact too, installation was a breeze because of how light it is. The LEDs are absolutely gorgeous and light up the room like daylight. I'm just so giddy, and I can't stop starting at how good this fan looks. Price is on point too. Dont bother getting an AC motor fan at a big box store. DC motor fans are where it's at?

The fan is beautiful. It works great! I love that it comes with a remote.We absolutely love this ceiling fan. It was easy to install , the fan is very quiet. It pushes out a very decent amount of air. Much more than other ceiling fans I have owned. The lighting is adequate for night time. So far so good.I use the fan in my sunroom. It does a fantastic job. I highly recommend this ceiling fan。

We recently remodeled our house and swapped out the old ceiling fan for this new model, and overall, it's been a great upgrade! The fan looks fantastic with its clean, modern design—it really adds to the updated feel of the room. The plastic material looks like wood and the size is great. It pushes air effectively to cool down a room. The remote control is a standout feature. It’s super convenient for adjusting the fan settings from bed, and we especially love the light dimming feature—it’s perfect for setting the right ambiance in the evening. That being said, installation was a bit tricky. The wiring for the remote control added some complexity, so it took longer than expected to get everything set up. The app that comes with it is also pretty outdated and difficult to use. I spent about 30 minutes trying to get it working and eventually gave up—definitely not the easiest part of the setup. One thing we wish was better is the fan’s lowest setting. Even on the lowest mode, the blades still move pretty quickly, so it doesn’t offer that super gentle breeze we were hoping for. Despite these few downsides, the fan works well and looks great. If you’re not too concerned about the app and don’t mind a slightly faster low setting, it’s definitely worth considering. Overall, it’s a solid choice for anyone looking to update their ceiling fan with a modern, functional design!

Purchase 2 and wanted both on same remote but no information was with manual. Email company with request and it took like 3 to get the right information, They were prompt, polite, and eager to help to solve this issue. I believe that the only problem we had was my lack of knowledge with email. With everything I have to say our communication, and experience was great and everything works perfectly. 5 star to say the least. Greatful.

Easy installation. Quality materials. Moves a lot of air.

Major flaw with this product. If you take a power hit (brownout), the fan defaults to light on. Buying this item for a vacation property would be a mistake. Even if you are at the location of the fan(s) and take a power hit, you have to go to each room and turn the light off (great wake-up call in the middle of the night). While DC is a cost saving alternative for the fan, a power hit will can be costly. The only way to turn the light off is to physically be at the location and using the remote or app (the app works via Bluetooth, not WiFi). I have 5 fans in my vacation home which I chose to leave running for circulation, but after a power hit, are now running with the lights on and there is no way to turn them off. If they fix this flaw, I would highly recommend this product. As of now, I’d take a pass.
