Premium experience for a budget price
Needed a new phone just for the bare minimum and the A16 has been astounding in quality. The colours are brilliant and accurate, the screen is responsive, sound (while not THE best compared to flagships) has been on par with phones at least twice as expensive. Connectivity has been without issue, and even with half a dozen apps running, no lag or latency issues. This thing has been great.

Excellent phone
love my phone. I am partial to Samsung, have had 3 other Samsungs through the years and can't complain about any of them. Phone function is excellent, battery life seems to last longer than previous phones, sound is excellent, takes great pictures. I would definitely recommend if you don't have to have the newest model. Great phone for the money.

Good budget phone for everyday use
I’ve been using the Samsung Galaxy A16 for a while now, and overall it’s a solid budget phone for everyday tasks. It handles basic things like calls, messaging, social media, and browsing without any issues. The screen is bright and clear, which I really like for watching videos. Battery life has also been reliable and easily lasts me through the day with normal use. That said, it’s not the fastest phone. I noticed some lag when switching between apps or using heavier applications, but that’s expected at this price point.

Best Samsung for the price and on sale it is their best selling phone.
Best phone I have ever bought and the cheapest. Has most of the bells and whistles and works great.

Great hardware held back by bloated software
I was looking for a secondary phone that I could dedicate specifically to work (email, number, apps, etc). In the past I've had plenty of low budget phones that did a great job with this (particularly the Motorola G series) but I wanted to give Samsung a try since the price to specs ratio was really good. The hardware itself is really good at this price. For $175, I got a phone with a good battery, decent camera, good screen, and a solid processor to keep most apps running well. Unfortunately, the whole Samsung suite of tools slows the phone down to a crawl if they decide to automatically run or update in the background. I hate this future of forced updates, and while it IS possible to disable "most" updates, some will still happen automatically around the Samsung suite of tools. Things like Samsung cloud, Smart things, Switch, Sync, and many more are constantly running for no reason, and attempting to interact with any will push you to create a silly Samsung account to manage their behavior. The One UI thing is extremely pushy with updates, with their overlay prompting me to update in the middle of typing an email or doing anything else. I don't know how we've fallen off so badly when it comes to UX design... at some point companies decided that their needs come first, and if there's any leftover time and budget, the user experience gets some consideration. Overall, the phone is a good piece of hardware, but the software is extremely annoying, pushy, laggy, and broken in many ways I highly recommend de-bloating the device by removing as much unnecessary crap as you possibly can, then the phone becomes much more usable.

Good choice for a 5G cell phone
My old cell phone was not a 5G phone. In order to get a new provider, I had to buy a 5G phone. I searched and I was happy to choose Samsung again. This phone was reasonably priced, esthetically pleasing and easy to use.

Like new and works great, just have to buy a charging block if you don't have one.
Phone came in like new condition, everything seems to work perfectly. The transfer from my other phone went fine. And last night it just updated itself to Android 16, I don't have to do a thing. The only thing it doesn't come with is the charging block that you plug in the wall, so if you do have one of those new C Chargers on your computer or somewhere you'll have to go and buy the block.

Good phone
It glitches and lags sometimes but I appreciate this phone for being an option for those on a budget. Has done everything and more, I plan to get and SD card to add more storage. I've dropped it like 6 times already but it's working just fine, so that's good! It's a bit big with the cover but nothing too unmanageable or uncomfortable. Weight is also good, doesn't feel like a brick. I got a screen protector and a lens protector with this purchase.
