This trash can has been the champion of our family by far. I personally found it very easy to clean, and it fits very well in the small kitchen we have! While this did replace a larger trash can which caused us to have to take out trash sooner, the addition of a recycling section in an all-in-one unit that doesn't take up a large footprint has been a blessing. So far it has mostly survived all three kids, but not without minor issues. Bear in mind that the stainless steel model *will* show dents and scratches, so as long as you aren't dragging things across it or smacking things into it hard, this is a non-issue. Obviously for me with 3 kids, I cannot and will not complain because it comes with the territory! One of the shocks has failed, and it looks like the other one is starting to fail as well. It appears the leak is coming out of the top seal where the plunger goes through, so it probably just wore out. After 5 years and literally tens of thousands of times absorbing closing forces... Still not going to complain. That is a great service life for something like this! The interior plastic started to break apart, but I think this is moreso caused by us dropping the containers in. Seeing as how it is only one side, I'll leave that up to you to decide if that is a big deal but it doesn't affect structural rigidity or function so again ... Not going to complain! At the end of the day, it has been a phenomenal investment and easily took the place of a larger trash and smaller separate recycling bin. The only thing I wish is that it would stop sliding around, but some quick sticky pad work made this a non issue. If you are looking for a stylish, durable, trash can than can survive the rigors of kids: this will do the trick. While it does have some minor durability concerns, none of them affected operation - as I type this, I have the kids removed and am sanitizing the cans! A great buy I have never once regretted!

Bought from the warehouse and it came with a few dents. A few hammer blows from the inside knocked them right out -- good as new! I love this can!

Love they are right under counter heights, so prepping things is so easy. They snug right under the counter top, so no mess of missing. They look amazing also. They hold soo much so you really don't see the trash in the can since it's open top, unless you keep adding that much, but let's face it then it's too heavy. Buy the bags for this can, they fit super nice, and don't break. Bags are 21 gallon

The product itself looks nice but in shipping it received some dents. Luckily my husband and I were able to pop them out. I know the dimensions are listed on the product page, but even with knowing what to expect the actual space to place garbage and recycling feels really small. No problems other than the dents so far, but I do worry that the foot pedal might go out. It cleans easily enough, but I still wont put wet or organic waste into the garbage because it will make the place smell every time you open the lid. It would also have been nice if the manufacturer had made a lock to keep the lids open when cleaning. This is an okay product, not outstanding by any means, but use-able.

Modern design and great way to separate trash and recycling. The canisters are slender so you have to take the trash out often but that’s a good way to avoid smells. Lid is compact and keeps out any emerging odors. Canisters are also easy to clean.

Purchased it in 2021, was able to keep it clean thanks to my OCD but it just stopped working, unexpectedly. Foot pedal at the base is not working.

Now have 2 of these - Easy to gets bags in and out - good mechanism that does not slam shut - nice finish. Highly recommended.

Good trash can. However, after unboxing the item, it already has a few dents. Quite disappointed considering you spend high money to receive damage. I still kept it, because I needed a trash/recycle can. Please add more protection for when this item is on route for delivery or simply being transferred. Overall the trash can operates fine and smoothly.
