Microwave Potato Cooker (1)

I have two of these now. The one has lasted me about 5 years so far (yes, still going!) and I got this one just to have an extra one in case I need to do double time! I absolutely love these! They cook potatoes so fast and easily. You can also do vegetables, such as corn on the cob, so it works well and is really versatile in use! Honestly, everyone needs one of these, you're really missing out if you think otherwise.

I thought this would not work. But my friend said that he used it in college so I bought it! Whoa! It works- Science! Potatoes come out cooked- But it does take longer for larger potatoes. Also, don't forget to flip your pouch to cook evenly. I do 5 minutes one side and 3 minutes the other side. It the potato comes out very nicely- Excellent product- Not sure how long it will last but for the price it is marvelous! Saving lot of time and also saving money by eating more potatoes!

I was very skeptical about this product, as I am with all "Seen on T.V." type products but for the low price offered on Amazon I gave it a shot. I bought it because I like baked potatoes and wanted to have them fresh for lunch at work. I am shocked that this item works SO WELL. I don't even make them in the oven at home anymore. The speed and convenience is amazing but the taste is honestly surprising. I usually do not like microwaved food but this tastes like it is right out of the oven. I follow the instructions for the product and have yet to have a single bad potato yet.

Works great! Giving 4 stars instead of 5 because if you put 4 potatoes in bag, they will be very tiny and take multiple 4 minute times in the microwave. Even 2 nice size potatoes don't cook evenly and at a timely manner. One good size potato at 8 minutes, a perfect potato, just like oven baked, that takes over 1-1/2 hours!

This is probably the best kitchen utensil I have ever bought. When you take it out of the package it looks like an oven mitt. And hell, I didn't make it, it may just be the same material as an oven mitt. But it works. When using keep in mind how many potatoes you're putting into the bag. One small to medium size potato takes about 4 minutes. But if you are filling that thing up with potatoes it's going to take more time. As a guy I don't like to take a lot of time in the kitchen. So I do protein, carbs, and veggies (most of the time), okay some of the time. So I like to through a chicken or steak in the pan, do a steamer veggie bag in the microwave, and cook a small potato with the potato express, and by the time my microwave cooking is done the protein is just about done and I have a good looking meal. POTATO EXPRESS!!! A MUST BUY!!

It is easy to use but I needed to double the cooking time. Also, it only held two medium sized potatoes so I had to cook a second batch. It actually took longer than just using the microwave. Not at all what I expected.

When I bought this I honestly did not expect it to work as advertised. But I was incredibly surprised to find out that it really does work. The few times that I have used it it’s taken more than the four minutes that I’ve seen stated, bur only by about 2-3 minutes. I cooked two potatoes at one time in 11 minutes. These times are incredible when compared to having to wait an hour to have the potatoes cooked in the oven. I am so happy that I tried this product out!!!
