JDC Motorcycle Helmet Full Face - Retractable Double Visor ECE 22.06 - SABRE

Measured my head to get the size right and the helmet fits very snuggly-perfect! It has built in ventilation vents and seems well made. The details are good, chin air deflector and quite quiet to wear. The best bit is the dual visor though. The inner visor is a tinted visor so your don’t need sunglasses and the outer visor is for protection. Full face helmet at this price might possibly be the best I’ve ever had. Hope I never have to test it’s protection in anger!

Amazing helmet at this price range! Everything is perfect, both visors work perfectly well, it is a perfect fit (M) for my 58 cm head, it is tight as it is supposed to be, but beware because it IS warm, I use it for an e-bike and not a motorcycle and would surely not be able to use it in the summer. I needed this for the winter commute and it is crazy warm for that, amazing. In 15C I had the visor up wide open. I imagine in colder temps I might close it. On a motorbike I imagine there is much more airflow due to much higher speeds, so it should be ok.

Firstly, it fits very nicely, I bought my usual medium size and the helmet fits perfectly with a nice but comfortable snugness. It has nice positions on the visor, with the lifting tab in the centre, which is taking me a bit to get used to as my previous helmets had it on the left side. This does make more sense though, as the lifting pressure is equal as you open the visor. The sun visor opens via a sliding switch near the bottom left, and I find I have to give it a good harsh push in order for the sun visor to be fully lowered. I do prefer my previous helmet control for this, which was a lever on the left of the helmet, above the visor fixing. I also wish the sun visor lowered a cm or so more. But looking down at the bike's controls is clear, whereas looking straight ahead gives a nice tinted vision. The helmet does seem to be a bit more noisy than previous ones, with wind noise. It wasn't so bad after I fitted my neck scarf higher over my mouth, blocking air from rushing up into the helmet. The quick release ratchet of the helmet strap is a bit short, I have to push it away, against the padding as hard as possible with my thumb, to avoid it rubbing against my temple as I fit the helmet. The opposite strap looks a bit thin too, so I'm hoping it lasts. So a few noticeable niggles, but a fine helmet for the price that is very comfortable to wear. I particularly like the spaces available to fit speakers, and have ordered a Bluetooth speaker set. Overall it looks great, with all the necessary basic features such as chin cover, a nose guard that doesn't keep falling off, a sun visor, air vents and music speaker ready. I'm pleased!

Excellent value , true to size I measured my head before purchasing and it fits perfect it is comfortable to wear the air vents work well and for the price I would highly recommend it .

Sizing is accurate, centre flip point on visor takes a little getting used to and internal sun visor is good. It has small internal pockets to take intercom ear speakers which is useful for our set up. For the price and as a occasional pillion helmet and the safety rating, this is a good purchase for the budget friendly
