Great leather thumb guard, i use it when carving wood, help on push cuts. Im just starting to learn how to carve wood and my thumb would hurt after carving for an hour. Im a think outside the box kind of guy, and this works with my large thumb

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Works as intended, but the leather is very stiff after many, many hours of use. I have owned several over the years, and none have ever been this hard to break in. If that is to your liking, as most at our archery club do, then this is for you, but for me, it is a negative. The quality, though, for the price, is great. The stitching was perfect, and it held up as we go shooting once a week, and occasionally twice a week, and always do at least 15 ends each time. I want to give this a 5 star as the quality is there I just do not believe it should be this stiff and thick and stay that way and not break in.

If you know somebody that loves to hunt this makes great gift. It's thoughtful something that they can use and not something that they would think of. Easy to use. Made of high quality. Does protect the finger.
