Great fan but won't install itself.
Very good bath fan. It's quiet, powerful, bright, and looks good. Only knock against it I have is that it's a tad challenging to install in a tight space like mine. It's not complicated to do at all and would be easy in large attic areas or new construction. BUT....My bath area happens to be where my attic roof slopes down towards the edge of the house. I have to shimmy around on my belly and I'm not as good at that as I once was but I suppose I'm as good once at it as I ever was. Overall 5 stars though because the fan itself is great. I have only myself to blame for getting middle aged and larger in size, and some home builder who would be around 100 years old (give or take 20) who built a small home before anyone realized they suck.

Very Happy with this fan
Electricians installed this fan yesterday. The only challenging thing was that the gap between rafters would not accommodate the included mounting rails so, they had to substitute 2x4's for those. Other than that, I believe it was a pretty straightforward installation. They commented that this is a very solid unit. This fan is a LOT quieter than our old one, 1.5 sones vs. 4.0. In fact, one can barely hear it running. It also moves air better than the old fan. No accumulation of moisture on the fan itself or the mirror. All moisture cleared very quickly. For perspective, the room is narrow, about 6x9. The dome light looks classy and is easy on the eyes. Would definitely recommend this unit.

Live, Love, Love!!
I/we cannot say enough on how much we love this bathroom exhaust fan and light. For one it’s quite, which is Amazing. Two, the power of the fan is Awesome!! I was in the bathroom with the door closed and the fan was on. The fan was actually pulling dog hair from under the door. :o (Yes, my corgi was shedding and I sweep daily) I was surprised on the power of the fan, and was like, “Heck Ya, now that’s power!! Third, we love the looks of it. It’s not your old school bathroom fan and light. You can’t go wrong with this purchase!! We have put one on our master bathroom and one in our main bathroom. We will be buying one for the half bath, just because I love this product. We are extremely happy with this unit!!

NO DRYWALL REPAIR NECESSARY!
This light is good price. I’ve installed dozens of bath fans. This one was not the easiest but can be installed in a inaccessible retrofit WITHOUT cutting and patching drywall which takes way more time than what I did. 1. Disassemble the entire fan 2. Check fit and If necessary screw additional wood blocking inside cavity to attach the flange 3. Attach baffle assembly to duct in ceiling and bend the two keeper tabs nearly 90 degrees 4. Place empty fan can into ceiling carefully fishing the wires through the square hole. 5. Screw the can flange to your blocking 6. Pull baffle assembly keeper tabs into can and run the screws through the can into the baffle reverse direction of how they originally were 7. Install Romex connector and metal square keeper screw the keeper in the reverse direction it was originally. 8. Wire up the wire assembly and junction box and reattach the two screws to hold it up 9. Reinstall the fan plug in then attach the 5 screws, the three in the back require a long Phillips driver. 10. Install the light kit bracket, you will need 4 different sheet metal screws I used the extras that came with the kit. The original tiny nuts and bolts will not work 11. Attach the light kit and you’re done! No drywall repairs necessary This is a loud fan I don’t have a sound tester but it is 3/4 as loud as a cheap 4 sone nutone And no where close to as quiet as a Panasonic. The light kit also has annoying light bleeding around the drywall and fits poorly due to thin metal construction. But alas you get what you pay for, I’m happy with the style and budget price

nice fan, poor installation pieces
Unless you're building brand new attic or replacing the entire ceiling, throw away the installation brackets. They will do you absolutely no good, and you will waste a valuable couple hours trying to make them work. You won't be able to rethink this amateur poor design of them. Spend that time cutting and attaching 2X2's or 2X4's for between your main support beams and attach the fan box that way. Other than that, it's very quiet and very nice looking. Fan works very well.

Quiet, Move a Lot of Air, Difficult Installation
The final results are nice but the installation was not. I could not install this fixture from the attic so I had to follow the instructions of another reviewer to install the fixture from below. It was a lot of work. If you have attic access, you will need to add framing for the fixture, route the wiring, connect the exhaust line to the fan, and then complete the wiring from below. You will also have to mount the fixture to the ceiling framing and install various brackets and the light fixture and glass. It is a lot of work to complete overhead. To use both the nightlight and the regular lights properly, your fixture must be wired for continuous power as well as switched power. Not all existing wiring is set up this way.

Somewhat OK
Just a few complaints. In a brand new house this would be easy to install, but in a 40 year old not so much. I had the problem of fitting a square box in a round hole. I expected this to be a challenge and it was. The other problem was after the install. The fan was very noisy due to the blades making contact with the housing. I discovered that one of the motor mounting screw was missing. I was able to put in a self taping screw but that was a challenge due to the tight location. This might have fallen off during shipping. The other problem was that the glass globe would not fit. I had to put in 2 thick washers (not included) to get the mounting screw extended enough to put in the globe nut. It would have been nice if the kit included wire nuts but not a big deal. Other than that the unit is working good now. And the price was great.
