I need for sleeping, I somehow hurt my thumb every night. With this brace I did not hurt it last night! Not tight, can be as loose as you want with velcro closures. Keeps my thumb straight so I don't fold it around my cpap mask or pillow, which made it used all night and hurt all day. Just what I needed. Works great. I found the zelcro wrist strap kept getting stuck to my blanket during the night. I cut the wrist wrap band off. It is even more perfect now. [I hate long sleeves or anything on my wrists. without the wrap elastic/velcro band is so much better for me!] The other adjustable strap is plenty to keep the support on all night. The thumb adjust strap is perfect to keep my arthritis thumb happy.

Perfect stabilization for your thumb. The brace has three straps, so it feels very secure with little to no thumb movement. Your other 4 fingers are free to continue doing daily tasks. Great product.

Excellent hand/thumb device. Quality materials. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 stars, is because when wearing all night, in the morning after taking off, the glove leaves some “puckered” marks and upper wrist line (I am wearing fairly loose, so it’s not too tight at all.) It takes hours for the small marks to completely go away, but it’s a small sacrifice, because what I’m experiencing is a great product otherwise. I believe marks are left because it’s because the material is stronger and stiffer, with a built in brace for thumb. Fortunately by the 2nd or 3rd wearing, the brace “softened” somewhat and bends more easily with my hand. I do appreciate it is keeping my thumb in place and stabilized while I sleep. And best of all, I am finally healing! I wished I had discovered this device back in March, when my trigger thumb started. It was very painful and inconvenient having such issues with my thumb. I waited too long to find something suitable (although I tried one of those cheap thumb only braces back in early April - covers only thumb - but that helped only a little bit and then actually became worse, so I stopped wearing.) But in only 7 days wearing (usually while I sleep only) this new thumb brace that covers your palm and wrist, my trigger thumb is 50% better. I’d say that is very good, considering what I was going through before. And it doesn't interfere with my sleep at all. It is very comfortable to wear. I forget I have it on. I should add I also ice my thumb and rub occasionally with CBD balm. Icing is very helpful and I try to do everyday. I will continue to wear at least another month, as it was while I was sleeping that my thumb became much worse when I woke up (for months), UNTIL I discovered this item last week with further research. So thank you to the seller and manufacturer of this finely made product. NOTE TO SELLER: Maybe mention in your marketing materials that this item will feel fairly stiff the first time or couple times wearing, but it does soften up just enough afterwards, while still remaining extremely effective. And to expect marks on your skin.

I had not experienced the pain I woke up with in my wrist joint before, I wondered what on earth I had done! After doing a little research on line, I figured it was possibly related to, carpel tunnel, or de quervains (anyway, something relating to the tendons in the joint in my wrist below my thumb. I read that I just needed to give it time to heal and this would mean, I needed to stop moving my right hand like I would normally. As I am right handed, I kept accidentally moving it and getting the sharp pain. I couldn’t grip anything without pain either. I figured, I needed some kind of brace that would keep my wrist stable and I simply liked the look of this brace. It did the job nicely and was a reasonable price. It allowed me to tighten the straps to where it didn’t cut off my blood circulation and at the same time gave me a very comfortable compression so, I didn’t keep hurting my wrist. I slept with the brace on and the next morning, it felt so much better! I can take off the brace quickly and easily and see how my wrist is feeling. I still feel a small twinge with certain movements so, I’ve been wearing it intermittently for the last couple of days, just giving my body healing time. This morning, I’m almost back to normal.

I love this thumb brace! I bought it bc I have trigger thumb. I was a little skeptical at first if it would work. They say you can wear the brace at night so I tried it last night thinking it was going to be uncomfortable but it wasn't. I didn't even know I was wearing it. Without the brace I would wake up in the middle of the night and my thumb would be hurting. It didn't hurt AT ALL! The brace keeps the thumb from bending and that's the key to keeping it pain free. I also like how it supports my wrist as well bc I have carpel tunnel in both wrists. That being said, I will definitely purchase another one for my other wrist. My hand and wrist are on the smaller side so I ordered the small and it fits perfectly.

I have not really worn it yet so can't say much. It seems well made but I can't get a work glove on over it. I wear a brace when I am outside working so this didn't work for me. I kept it as I considered wearing it in the house when I am actively working my hads

This has been a life saver for me. When my thumb is hurting (which happens more frequently since I injured it over a year ago) this helps with the pain level by providing support. I love the ability to adjust the tightness for support. It's also better than the brace that keeps you hand so stable that you cannot do daily chores. I can still work while wearing this and give my hand the support it needs. So good, I got a second one.

This brace is perfect for my thumb. I have a joint issue and at times I need to immobilize it and it works great for what I need. It adjusts to fit better which makes it easy to use.

Die Bandage passt sehr gut und sitzt stabil, ohne einzuengen. Ich trage sie jetzt seit etwa fünf Wochen und sie sieht immer noch aus wie neu, das hat mich wirklich positiv überrascht. Ehrlich gesagt hätte ich bei einem so einfachen Produkt auf Amazon eine deutlich schlechtere Qualität erwartet. Die Bandage hält zuverlässig, ist angenehm zu tragen und fühlt sich überhaupt nicht wie ein störender Fremdkörper an. Besonders wichtig für mich: Sie unterstützt die Genesung meines Daumens, den ich leider etwas überdehnt habe, spürbar. Auch nach mehreren Wochen täglicher Nutzung sieht sie noch sauber aus. Das Material scheint nicht besonders schmutzanfällig zu sein und wirkt insgesamt sehr hochwertig. Klare Kaufempfehlung! PS: das Foto ist nach fünf Wochen inklusive einer dreiwöchigen Reise nach Indonesien aufgenommen. Irre oder?

I have some sort of tendonitis issue right at my wrist below my thumb. If I twist my wrist or move my thumb outward I get excruciating pain right at the wrist area. I've tried several wrist straps but none have worked. I was happy to finally find some relief with the Freetoo! I think it is because it covers the entire thumb and has two braces that run along the thumb down to the wrist. The other wrist straps I had either only had 1 brace or didn't cover enough of the thumb, so there was still too much movement. Now all is not perfect. I need to get the Freetoo very tight for it to restrict enough wrist and thumb movement to see any benefit. Unfortunately, after some time the tightness starts to be uncomfortable and I have to take it off. It becomes a constant on, then off, then on, then off routine. Sometimes I just forget or not bother. One other thing is while the velcro is reasonably strong it is not as strong as some other straps I've ordered in the past. This one I've had a strap fall off. The straps are fairly easy to undo too, unlike other straps where you are literally ripping them apart. Overall, I was surprised the Freetoo worked as well as it did. I was able to get some relief, especially when working on something using my hands. Unfortunately I had to tighten them until they are a bit uncomfortable to get that benefit. Otherwise there is still too much movement allowed. If you've tried others and are suffering from tendon pain right at the base of them thumb, be sure to give the Freetoo a try to see if it helps you as well!

Just arrived and now fitted on my wrist, gave it a good inspection and am very pleased with the fit to my wrist the stitching and quality is excellent, need to use it now long term it certainly holds my wrist and thumb and gives good support. any issues I will update later

Fazit: Wer eine zuverlässige und hygienisch pflegeleichte Daumenschiene sucht, findet hier ein exzellentes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Die sorgfältige Materialwahl rechtfertigt die Zeit, die ich in den Vergleich investiert habe.
