I like the power. Cooks faster but does not dry out food. Does a great job of warming a dinner plate without over heating parts and leaving other parts cold. Also much quieter than the GE that it replaced.

The micro wave purchased from Amazon Prime in May of 2025 has been great until 3 weeks ago when it stopped working. examination by licensed technicians revealed an internal burned connection with char. I think it should still be under warranty. I have purchased an identical replacement from Amazon Prime which is working fine. The May of 2025 Toshiba is in the shipping crate the new one came in. What to do? Willy Schwenzfeier container that the new one came in. ? under warranty, Refund? it is repairable and you may wish to pick it up

When running the unit, it has a burnt 'wire insulation', 'diode' or 'paint' smell, that fills the whole kitchen (I am over 1 month into this smell). This smell clashes with your excepted 'nice food' smell you want, and dampens your overall eating experience. NEVER had a microwave that required a burn-in period, so I suspect something is seriously wrong and that it will fail soon. Disappointed the turntable is not a perfect synced 360 degree rotation at :30 sec (more like random 379.5 degrees) you have to reach around to a new spot to grab your food. Also disappointed you can ONLY use 1 min OR :30 sec increments (ex. :47 OR 1:47 is not possible).

Good looking microwave. It’s a great brand I’m sure it would have lasted for many years but it was so darn huge it would not fit in the space.

This thing is brilliant. It's very quiet and heats evenly even before using the inverter out of full mode. Despite having a massive turnplate and oven size, it doesn't take up that much extra room and the hinges were done well. Installation was putting the turnplate in and plugging it in -- anybody can do that in 30 seconds. My only gripe is the box layout put the glass turnplate facing the outside of the box on the top with nothing but a layer of cardboard protecting it from impacts. I'm sure you could get a replacement through Amazon but that's just poor design IMHO.

This microwave was a really good buy and has all of the features you need to heat things up in a reasonable amount of time. Settings are convenient and the safety lock on the handle is a good feature
