Living in an apartment has some drawbacks since you can’t mount things to the walls. I wanted the soundbar on top of the TV. This VESA-compatible mount was easy to install, allowing the soundbar to be mounted at the top of the TV. The bracket is very sturdy, and the speaker is secure with no fear of it falling. I also mounted my Apple TV on top of the sound bar using a large nano tape circle. The surround sound system sounds much better to me with the bar on top of the TV. I am very happy to have found this mount. I recommend it to anyone who does not want to use wall brackets. It can also be used to mount your bar under the TV.

I was a bit disappointed that my LG soundbar I bought with my 77" LG OLED C5 TV only provided wall brackets so I ordered this kit, and it was quite easy to install and works perfectly. About the only complaint is that it wasn't super easy to make it exactly parallel to the bottom of the TV, but that goes with the territory it has to fit so many different sizes and my soundbar bottom screws were so far away from the TV mounting brackets the angle was pretty extreme. Took a bit of adjusting both sides once installed to get it parallel but it is very solid and remains parallel.
