Fantastic item. Bought it as I wanted another Miata item to add to my collection/selection of such things being that over the past 10 years I've owned 3 Miata's and still have one. Originally found this on Etsy and decided to search the internet to see what else was out there. Found many of the same car/controller but with vastly different purchase prices, accessory packages and delivery charges. Amazon had the best price and the extra batteries were a deal closer. Turned out well as an early birthday present for this 77 year old. Some on line reviews of this product, no matter who sold by, are not always encouraging. However for me this was an out of box experience. Read the limited descriptions of the so called manual. The box is actually the most informative information. All drive batteries came pre-charged. Added controller batteries and I was soon drifting around the house. Both on smooth floors, concrete basement floor and soon carpets. Works far, far better than some reviewers would let on. Of course after an initial check and test run I WD-40ed all the pivots and swivel points. Take a close look at how many small fine parts there are. It is a really well thought out and engineered car.

For the price, you simply cannot beat this as an entry point into RWD drifting. Unlike typical 4WD 'drift' toys that just power-slide, this has a legitimate gyro-stabilized RWD system that allows for realistic counter-steering. The pop-up headlights are a fantastic scale detail and can be controlled remotely. It's a 'ready-to-run' (RTR) kit that actually works out of the box, making it a blast for indoor sessions.

It works well and is fun but it's hard to get the reverse driving to work. It works well a few minutes after I put a new battery in but if I turn it off the reverse stops working. Other than it's great and still worth it. The battery lasts longer than I thought it would, and the steering works well even though it's hard to keep it driving in a straight line. The design it cool and the body is also sturdier than I thought it would be, and I've crashed it a lot of times and it doesn't even scratch.

Very fun and cute rc drift car.. the pop up headlights are such a nice touch. Comes with three batteries and a charger… it’s a good kit. I’ve had tires come off while driving sometimes but it’s not too bad.. easy to pop back on. Drive times on one charge are long enough to really enjoy the car.

The car was used ! It was broken. Very poor quality and to expensive for what you get ! Bad on Amazon for not checking to see if it was used when the people returned it ! Ruined my grandsons birthday.

Cool car, love the metal body and working lights. Not particularly easy to drive as a drift car

No bad the gyro is awful so if you’re expecting a smooth drift you’re wrong . I’m sure there’s way to fine tune it . But overall a fun little car
