The X431 comes in a robust case that includes the tablet and all necessary cables/charger. I like the fact that the OBD II adapter is Bluetooth, so I can walk around the car and perform actuation tests without needing to sit in the drivers seat. I was quickly able to diagnose some fault codes in the ECU of my 2000 ML55 AMG, it even auto-detected the VIN. This scanner is bidirectional so you also have the ability to do some coding on certain cars. I was surprised to find this scanner had the ability to perform adaptation resets or teach-in processes that I’ve only seen Mercedes dealer specific software do. I noticed even more functionality with my 2002 BMW 530i where it was able to do even more advanced coding such as changing the vehicle order (VO). Can safely say this scanner should work great with any vehicle that has an OBD II port, which is pretty much everything since the late 90s. If you have an older German car such as a BMW or Mercedes, some of the late 90s and very early 2000s cars have an OBD II port, but they also have a diagnostic port under the hood. In this case, the OBD II port really only works for emissions, you'd have to get an adapter (not included) for those cars. I do have some of those adapters lying around, so I was able to try it out with an E36 3 series (1999) and an R129 SL (1997), and it worked like a charm. This would be useful when retrofitting/upgrading various components. Overall the scanner seems very capable especially for the price. The ability to observe live data and graph it is nice to have as well. The size of this scanner is pretty much perfect as well. I have used other Launch scanners in the past specific for certain makes of vehicles, this seems like a considerable upgrade over those, especially being the latest model. There are features in the software that would make this scanner great for a mobile mechanic or small shop as well, as it has the ability to make vehicle profiles and send reports including error codes to customers.

Im a Master Technician and having a good solid reliable scantool is a MUST especially when working with alot of different Brand vehicles. From scanning Full complete reports, to printing wirelessly and sending my customer a detailed report via email of all their dtc’s, this tool can do. Maint resets, Parking Brake Retract, even chasing misifires on a Bmw and Mercedes no problem. Diagnosing Hondas Fuel trim issues with their AF Test is perfect! Using the live data with 8 multiple graphs, I was also able to determine the state and condemn a bad Hybrid Battery on a late model Ford Fusion. I have an Autel Ultra that i use everyday. And is Big Scan Tool. And sometimes not so practical. This scanner is built tough, and the perfect size to carry around the shop when working on multiple cars. Everything i have used it for is worked flawlessly with no issues. The Scan tool is very easy to use. Im also very impressed with the battery life. My Autel Ultra, in one day i may be 50% life left on my battery. The CRP919EBT, i used it for 6 days, did not charge it, on the last day i still had a 20% battery life left. So i was impressed! If you’re a technician looking for a good scan tool, at a good price this is it!

El producto y la caja con los accesarios se ve muy bien y de alta calidad, tengo 2 coches en la casa, y el equipo no las encontro un coche de 2025, automaticamente no detecto en Vin y poner manual en Vin en coche no existe para ese scanner, ni la fábrica de coche el coche existe desde 2017, lo voy a regresar, y buscar un scanner que funciona con mi Chevrolet Groove Update no compran con ese vendedor, ya regresé ese producto, hace más de 1 mes, confirmado el regreso Amazon , no me han regresado el dinero!
