No, it doesn't support 5G Wi-Fi, it can only connect to 2.4Ghz Wi-Fi. If you use EERO, you need to disable [advanced settings] and 5G for a while to get tghe 2.4G devices connected. Once done, you can reenable the settings.

No, it doesn't support 24/7 continuous recording as it is a low-power camera with requiring power-saving for a balance battery-powered working status. But it can detect and record motion via PIR, generating motion alerts and save them in the app.
