The New Pig Poly Drum Funnel with Hinged Lid (DRM672) is designed to fit any 55-gallon, tight-head steel or poly drum. Depending on what specific regulation of the EPA you are looking to meet will determine if this funnel is suitable for use with hazardous materials. If you are trying to meet closed container regulations, then no, this unit does not meet this criteria. 29 CFR 1910.106(a)(9) Closed container shall mean a container as herein defined, so sealed by means of a lid or other device that neither liquid nor vapor will escape from it at ordinary temperatures. 29 CFR 1910.106(e)(2)(ii) "Containers." flammable liquids shall be stored in tanks or closed containers. Very handy in the shop and especially like the grooves in the bottom so if something is in the oil it filters it out (.ex. drain plug and for setting filters on to drain out) and lid keeps dirt out👍

helps keep the mess down

I change the oils on all my stuff. keeping the mess down and dealing with the used oil has always been a little of a pain...not now. should have had one years ago.
