Effective and clever static remover
This is a clever and innovative product which works. It’s easy to use and in my system is doing a good job of dispelling static. It isn’t cheap but if your listening environment is prone to static I would judge this as decent value for money.

Expensive but does the job.
Static has been a problem annoying me for years! Other products available seemed crude and expensive and awkward to use with varying degrees of efficiency so I was drawn to this. Expensive it is but it is also bloody amazing. It improves sound quality and lowers noise! Ease of use just press the button and it works itself. No holding this way or that. It was designed for a record and you can tell a genius spent a lot of time on it, the product is idiot proof. Expensive but worth every penny! also recommend you use the product on the turntable mat to clear it of static on first use too. No more platter mat stuck to record, wonderful.

Pricey but it really works- transformational device
I was skeptical to begin with. I read lots of reviews and watched YT demos. Eventually decided to fork out the hefty sum and it has been a most worthwhile investment. The results are truly incredible. I bought a HumminGuru Nova Ultrasonic record cleaner a couple of months earlier and it has been an incredible machine. Adding the Orbit to my vinyl routine is the cherry on top. Listening to records without the hiss crackles and pops is so satisfying. I'm listening to records in my collection bought over 40 and 50 years ago that sound better than new. I cannot recommend this machine highly enough- expensive? Yes but excellent value if you want to hear your record collection at its best.

Incredible!
Hi All So today I received the Hummingguru orbit antistatic remover. Up until now I've been using the zero stat gun which was pretty good but I must say this new machine is in a a whole different ballpark. The unit fits on above the record and when started, rotates 10 times firing off positive and negative ions. When finished it stops. Ive just played an original 1975 album by Elton John and believe me when I say, it sounded like a brand new pressing that I've just opened. No pops, no crackles, just black silent background. I've yet to try a new record but I'm so! Impressed. I know it's had glowing reviews but when you use it yourself it's staggering how much noise this machine removes. It's not cheap at £259. But for me personally it's worth every penny. It's well made and feels quality. 10/10. (I'm not connected to the company etc. this is just my independent findings.

Tried this on multiple records which were vastly different in age ,condition and levels of static . It made zero difference! I then cleaned all said records and played them again without using the hummingbird and then with It made zero difference! Funny how a lot of reviews speak very generically about this item , parroting the marketing talk. Or , don't provide AB comparisons? Or, have cleaned their records beforehand negating the possibility of a reasonably fair test? The company claim its been endorsed by this hifi company/ institution etc. There may be proof that electrical readings of static have reduced after this product has been used, but thats like saying this optical cable made from fairy dust reduces 'jitter'. technical readings aside, the real world implications are you cant hear any difference. I seem to recall MQA being heralded as a breakthrough in audio fidelity with its bold claims. Later to be debunked. So watch this space..... The return policy on this item is very complicated . Its a fed ex drop off or collection. You are required to fill out a long return form and print out multiple paperwork. Finally the seller will reimburse you minus £25 of the refund total I feel like this is a poor show indeed

I recently got back into records. My 1st LP purchases were older titles from the 1970s that I owned years ago but sold off in the 1980s. So upon playing several records, there was that old familiar static pops and ticks that I found so distracting back in the day. We didn't have ultrasonics years ago let alone knowledge of how to properly clean records. Static electricity was just part of the package. I did some research and tried a few things but static remained on the vinyl. I saw the Humminguru Anti Static on Amazon and it looked to be a pretty clever and fool proof design so I took a leap of faith and purchased a unit. I also bought Distilled Water and very soft flat sponge and nitrile gloves plus one of those vinyl cleaning velvet type brushes. So 1st I took of my shoes and went bare foot because our home has carpeting I did not want to create any static electricity walking with shoes. Put on the nitrile gloves and took a record out of the anti-static sleeves that I now use for all my records. I Placed a record on top of the anti-static sleeve. Wet the soft sponge with distilled water and gently with held one hand on the record label as I ran the wet sponge softly and gently around the record. I then squeezed out excess moisture from the sponge and ran the sponge again around the record. The record was still damp but not wet. I put the record on my player and let it spin and placed the velvet cleaning brush on the record and carefully allowed the brush to absorb any dampness periodically taking the brush off and running my hand across the velvet to wring away any of the absorbed moisture while still wearing the nitrile gloves. Then I placed Humminguru Anti Static onto the record player and allowed it to run through its cycle. I then put the humminguru close to my cartridge headshell and ran it for a minute, Now the moment of truth. I was ready to give up and bag the whole vinyl thing since the records I had bought seemed irretrievably filled with pops and static before i went through the steps outlined above. Upon playing the same hopeless records that had gone through this ritutal I was amazed at what I now heard. the pops and clicks and static were completely gone. Congratulations to Humminguru for this innovative game changing device. Its easy to use and it really does work. It will not fix scratched record noises but it will fix any backround noises related to static electricity that is a major problem for record lovers. It you take the steps I've outlined I promise you will enjoy listening to your records like never before without the need for ultrasonic cleaning machines. Yes the humminguru is $300 but it is a small investment compared to the cost of your record collection and turntable. My only concern is that the warranty is only one year and an extended warranty is not offered. Time will tell how durable it is but to my mind I would never play records without it. Its the easiest thing to use.
