Lincoln Logs - Little Prairie Farmhouse - Pink

I don't usually go out of my way to buy things made special in pink just for girls because I think it's silly. I normally would have just bought regular ol' lincoln logs. However, the little booklet that came with my stepson's set showed this pink set and she was so excited that when her birthday rolled around, I had to get them.She was absolutely thrilled that she got an identical set to her brothers except in pink.I actually didn't expect much because she is three, but she is able to follow the set ups from the booklet on her own, and even combine her set with her brothers and make houses.I don't remember what my lincoln logs were like as a child, but these are well made and sturdy enough to withstand 7, 4 and 3 year olds playing with them, and they beat their building toys up daily.

My grandkids love Lincoln Logs and have an original set but when the two (brother and sister) play together, they often blame one another for "taking" pieces from another. The pink allows them to obviously differentiate the two sets.

Superior fun, especially for kids caught indoors this winter. I sent them to a friend's child in Boston!!! She is really enjoying them along with Little House in the Big Woods by Laura Ingalls Wilder... She never grows old.

This is a really cute option, my daughter is going to love it in pink! The animals are very cute and seem to be fairly sturdy (they will stand up on carpet and hard floors). I just peeked into the box because this is a Christmas present, but I didn't see "directions" on how to make the picture on the front of the box. She is young (5 years old) and will be wanting to make exactly what she sees. But other than that, super cute!

Finally a set for girls. The set was well made and the '12 Farm Animal Figures Toys 3 to 4 inch plastic - new' complemented the set nicely. The joint present was wonderful and enjoyed by our 5 year old granddaughter.

This set is a major rip-off. It tells you that there are 101 logs on the box. what it doesn't tell you is that most of those 101 logs are the almost-useless mini logs. There are only three of the triple-length logs and about twelve of the double-length logs... and then about 80 mini-logs.Unfortunately, I bought it on amazon for $70 when other retailers had it for about $30, so I overpaid for an already overpriced disappointment. So, don't buy this here, and be warned that you will have very limited building options if you do buy it.

We love Lincoln Logs. I ordered this set (new) for a gift, but it arrived with the top pink covering completely missing. I taped it closed and hope the set is complete. The low rating is due to the missing packaging expected for a new toy. It also makes the toy look used, whether or not it was.

easy to follow directions and the grandkids go straight to it when they come over to my house. My only complaint is I wish there were more logs!! Guess I need to order another one.
