Beautiful, though there is a "shadow" where the paint sprayed over it was blocked by the wire, and some of the wire sticks out quite a bit where it crosses its fellow, rather than being in a plane like it is on the other side. Still, it functions beautifully, and the "old gold" finish is PERFECT for the ornate woodstove I have in the greenhouse aviary. I like that this can be lifted on and off to access the stove, but otherwise will be a sturdy guard to keep the canaries from incinerating their little feet on the hot stove. Really a lovely piece and the imperfect finish and construction really don't detract much at all.

It's exactly what I expected. I was hesitant on putting one back in place in fear of it looking so gaudy. It does the complete opposite, it looks very elegant just in time for the holiday.
