Gosky Universal Mobile Phone Adapter Holder for with Binoculars, Monocular Spotting Scope, Telescope, Microscope

This is solid and well made. It is a fiddle to get the phone lens lined up with an eyepiece but it works very well once set up. I have manages pictures of Jupiter and moons with my first attempt with my telescope. Early days so moon has not been available yet but I am very pleased with this gadget. Update - Have now got some really great pictures of the moon at 100x . I have a 4"" refractor and the results really astounded me. I discovered that shining a torch through the lens of the telescope whilst looking at the phone screen made lining up the phone much easier. This gadget is a bargain !

I bought this Gosky phone holder to use with my Sky-Watch Heritage 100P telescope and Samsung Galaxy S22 ultra phone and am impressed with the results. I took the video and photos of the Snow Moon and Jupiter and its Galilean Moons on 1 February 2026. I used the Super 10 eyepiece on the telescope. The phone was set at 1x zoom (no zoom). The phone holder looks fairly well made. As it is a bit of a fiddle setting it up I would recommend you try it first in daylight as I did to take the photo of distant chimney pots. I will most likely be setting it up when it is light for any future astro shoots to make life easier. Summing up, the results with the holder and telescope are much better than holding the phone by hand and attempting to keep it still using a large zoom. I would never have been able to get the shot of Jupiter or the video by hand holding (note there is still slight movement in the video). The shot of Jupiter was quite grainy so an editing software on the phone was used to remove some of this, but that is down to the quality of photos taken with a phone rather than a high end camera. As I have only tried it once I am being cautious giving 4 stars rather than 5.

I think I made a complaint about this but I clicked on wrong order made same time by mistake. Was one to Amazon so if they contact you just point them to this review, it was made in error and was meant for dobsonian skywatcher 200p and there absolutely shocking customer service if you dont agree to something else they offer on the phone. Everything Gosky I have had including this have always been excellent and did exactly what they say as described. Thanks and sorry if you hear from amazon about a complain to them but once again it was in error and I hit subit before I realised. Can ask them to get in touch with me or simply point them to this review to show them it was a mistake.

I bought this to fit a mono scope . The item fits my iPhone 12 very well. However it does take a little time to correctly align the phones camera with this item. It works best if you use a tripod. Once aligned it does the job but don’t expect miracles. A little fiddling and a lot of patience you will get a reasonable picture. So to summarise this is not perfect but does the job.

It's easy to fit, it works, and once you have your mobile camera adjusted it means that you no longer have to try to adjust you spotting scope stooped over with your eye mm from the eyepiece. It makes the whole thing much easier, and you can take photos. Excellent value for money!

It didn't fit my scope so not universal. I contacted the seller who refunded me.

Gets the job done. Quite a bit fiddly to set up and don't expect it to remain in the same position when taking off and putting back on the binoculars, so one has to adjust it each time almost from scratch. However, it is way cheaper than adapters made for a specific phone+bins combination and the results once it is in place are quite good. Attached photos taken using Google Pixel 3 on Nikon Prostaff 7S 10x42 binoculars.

Great idea but fiddlers and doesn't line up monoscope with camera lense

Pour remplacer le nanar qui était livré avec ma longue-vue, se support de téléphone tient très bien. Le plus difficile aura été de régler précisément bien au centre du trou face au bon objectif du smartphone et bloquer cela. Nettement mieux que les gadgets à trois sous qu'on vous donne dans la boite de jumelles.

Quería hacer fotos con mi móvil y mi telescopio de la luna y este adaptador cumple con la función y no es muy caro, mucho más comodo que tener que sujetar el móvil a mano

I've really enjoyed this attachment for my Celestron Nexstar 130 SLT. It fits my 1.25 inch eyepieces easily. Attaching my phone was a breeze and taking pictures of the night sky took little time from original set up. It will only attach to the 1.25 inch eyepieces as the larger 2 inch eyepieces are too big, but I already new that when I was looking at purchasing. It is hard to line up my phone's camera over the eyepiece, but as long as the moon is out, I can use it for the set up and then move around to the area of the sky that I want to photograph. With the steady hands-free attachment I can extend the exposure up to 14 seconds on my phone and bring in plenty of stars, galaxies and nebulae that I wouldn't be able to see with the naked eye.
