Bovril Beef Extract 250g - Pack of 2

I hadn't had Bovril in a very long time and wasn't sure if I would still like it. I just wanted a change from all those effing herbal teas! I needn't have worried. I loved the flavour of this drink so much that from day one I have been drinking it twice a day. It is a lovely rich, warming drink, full of flavour. A month later and I have seen a big improvement in my muscle mass and energy levels. I was on a high protein diet before and after six months, was showing very little signs of improvement; but one month on Bovril and both skin and muscles have filled out beautifully. I'm going to carry on with this gorgeous drink now, and see what I am like Adler six months. One thing though, a few days after starting this drink the bones my hands and feet began to hurt. I knew what was in the Bovril was starting to fix the cartilage in them, so I carried on. The pain soon wore off and has not come back; just kept them warm meanwhile. Great stuff. Sainsburys, Waitrose and the Co-op all sell it.

I ordered this because we live in Australia and I had a friend who was in the uk. We can only get smalls jars here. You can’t beat bovril on toast

Great value very versatile with a great taste

Struggling to find Bovril in my local supermarkets , I turned to Amazon . Just the job !! I've been spreading Bovril on my toast for at least 60 years and it's nectar of the Gods in my opinion ! Good value too.

Bovril is one of those lovely things in life that we can enjoy, particularly on a cold winters day. It was very easy to order at a great price and delivery was fast and well packed. Mind you it takes a lot to break a jar of Bovril.

I use Bovril as a beverage and know its properties well. The only problem with this order was that one of the caps leaked and made quite a mess which had to be cleand up.

Makes a middle morning drink

Bovril has always been a favourite as a great tasting beverage or a food supplement providing Vitamin B etc, based on beef extract. It is brilliant on toast with butter, as well as mixing in stews or using as a refreshing soup. The jar was supplied very nicely packaged. The supplier is equally excellent in all aspects of the transaction. Thoroughly recommended item.
