McAlpine CBWF70CB Bath Clicker Waste and Overflow, Chrome and White

I liked this product. A bit on the expensI've side but you have to pay for quality. Unfortunately, the bathtub was delivered with similar items in the box . Never got a chance to try it.

As the overflow section will be against the wall in a double-ended bath, I didn't want a cable-operated waste. This is a quality product, though it's pricey.

I worked in the bathroom trade for years and I would never recommend anything else for this application. You DO get what you pay for, so don't cheap out!!!

Bought one to replace our ancient one on the bath. All the reviews rave on how good they are so expected great things but I found the clicker part poorly designed. It doens't screw in like a lot of others, so when pressed down relies entirely on its own weight and pressure from the water to make a seal on the plug. In a shallow bath the slightest knock will break the seal and allow it to empty. I returned it and went for the other one McAlpine do with built in trap which can be cleaned from above, much better idea and the plug is actually pulled down.

Product arrived without the clicker assembly. Disappointed result from well known brand and returned for refund....

Brilliant ! The plumbers first choice.

Replaced a mechanical one which was constantly getting stuck. This works brilliantly and I now always use mcalpine products.

I just fitted this to my bath and it won't hold water.
