For starters, I have very damaged hair. It’s not been processed at all, no blow drying ever, it’s just very long hair that’s been growing for 10+ years with no trims in all that time. I refuse to get my hair trimmed so my hair looked very rough and dry with lots of split ends. The roughness of my hair, especially near the ends, didn’t feel or look nice and made brushing, combing and detangling my hair a nightmare, even with conditioners, oils and detangling spray.I saw this product recommended in a video and decided to give it a try as the person whose video I watched raved about it. The price was another plus because it’s very affordable too. I was skeptical that any one product would help my old, damaged hair but I was wrong. So very, very wrong.This product, Dove Intensive Repair, has completely transformed my hair after just one use. My years old, dry, rough hair with horrible split ends that would get tangled if I just looked at it wrong is now smooth, silky, soft and shiny. I can’t get over how nice my hair looks and feels. I didn’t even have to use my detangling spray after washing my hair because it’s like this product erased or prevented any tangles from even forming. It’s made combing, brushing and braiding my hair a dream.The product is very easy to use. Wash and condition your hair as normal, using any shampoo and conditioner you like (this product’s label says to use Dove shampoo and conditioner but I didn’t and it still works great). Then, after you rinse the conditioner out of your hair squeeze as much water out of your hair as possible and apply this repair treatment from midway down your hair (so not on your scalp) and all the way to the ends. The label says to leave it on for 1 minute then rinse but I left it on for 3 minutes because my hair is so damaged and it worked beautifully.The only drawback to this wonderful product is that it does have a lot of fragrance in it. It’s a pleasant perfumed scent but it’s strong so if you’re sensitive to perfume it might not be for you. If they had a fragrance-free version it would be absolutely perfect but even with the fragrance it’s still a winner and I’m so glad I gave it a try. Dove Intensive Repair is truly a miracle cure for rough, dry, damaged hair.

The deep conditioner/mask works very very very well. It detangles, shines, gives body and volume without frizz and makes hair super soft and manageable. It honestly felt like I got a fresh haircut that fresh healthy ends feeling you get when you take 4 inches off. But it was so heavily fragrances that my whole house smelled like the conditioner after my shower. So I am not keeping it. I am quite sensitive fo fragrance and my skin doesn't like it. But if you don't mind a strong fragrance (not bad, just strong) please do get this one! It performed better than my Sephora bought ones. (Soul mask)

Abby Yung was right. After years of only using high-end hair products, I finally gave in and tried this product from her recommendation- and wow. After one use my hair felt so silky and shiny. The results were exactly what I had been trying to achieve with extremely expensive hair care but never got. Absolutely will be repurchasing and trying the shampoo and conditioner.

I just tried this mask for the first time, and so far I’m impressed. I have very thick, straight hair and noticed that it felt a lot softer and smoother right after using. Also, it was easier to brush through and style. The scent is clean and light, which I really like. I can’t speak to the long-term benefits yet, but based on first impressions, it feels nourishing without being too heavy.

Love! I use this about every other wash in between the Dove Intensive Repair. Makes my hair very soft and eliminates the dryness of my ends. My hair is healthier now than prior to using. Very good price for the outcome!

OBSESSED! I also use the Dove Shampoo and Conditioner matching set, and use this after. I love the smell, I love the way it makes my hair feel. I also noticed while on vacation, I didnt wash my hair for 2 days and I could still smell this scent in my hair even after sweating, oil, dirt and whatever else could fly in my hair while at the beach.
