Product broke under normal use after only having it for 6 weeks. It was past the return window for Amazon, but there is a 1 year warranty listed with the product. However, there isn't any contact information on the seller. When you click on Next Gen (the seller), you are instructed to contact Amazon. When I contacted Amazon, they don't have any contact information for them either. Since I was past the 30 day window, they weren't able to help with the damaged product. Don't purchase... select another product/seller!!!

Got this heavy duty pool leaf rake for my ring-style inflatable pool (technically a 10', but the top is only about 8' in diameter). The mesh on this is fine/small enough that it efficiently catches stuff like gnats and small bugs, but once in a while smaller dirt particles or bits of cut grass slips through. The best part about this tool is that the pole is universal and fits almost any other "head," unlike 2 other pool cleaning poles I went through this summer before finding this one! I do wish it had a few more holes in the pole, which would help ease resistance when dragging it through the water. But all in all, for the price (around $25), this is by FAR the best value and high quality pool net with INCLUDED pole that I found, and I searched high and low, both online and in local big box stores. Now if only I could find a pool boy to do the actual cleaning... ;)

I bought this net on my friend's say-so as a new pool owner. I did not do any research and though a net is a net. This net works well for fishing out objects from the surface and form the bottom, but I quickly found that I had to invest in a "real" telescoping pole. The 4-ft pole this net came with is useless, almost too short even for the spa. It looks longer in pictures. Measure 4-ft out with your arms and realize that you will need a real pole. Therefore, if the nest sells without a pole for a couple bucks less, you may opt for that, and immediately look for a pole, which will be fairly expensive. And if the pole is fairly expensive, does it make sense to buy a cheap net? I am not sure.For months, my spa had a lot of sand and small gravel in it either from the deteriorating sandstone walls or from the gardeners blowing the dirt it from the planters or both. I watched a pool pro clean it once with both a vacuum and a net. His movement with the net (his own) were continuous and vigorous, and he was able to get all the sand out within minutes. He worked hard, but when I tried doing the same with this net later, I found that I cannot drag it through the water as swiftly to catch all the sand and floating debris as I watched the guys do it. This is either because I don't have the skill/strength or because his pro grade net is made in a way that lets water through more easily while catching the debris. Not passing judgement on this net, just saying: do your research and decided which net is right for the kind of pool work you will be doing.Now that my spa is free of sand, and I own a $60 telescoping pole, this net works perfectly for me for occasional surface skimming or retrieving items from the bottom of the pool.

I am not sure how this received so many good reviews. The net appears to be better than mostout there. If it wasn’t for the net this would had got a 1- star. I would had returned this if I hadn’t need it so bad. The pole design could had been better. I am not even sure why they didn’t design it better. If I move the clip to the 2nd hole from the top it was so flimsy so I left it the way it came. I am not sure why they didn’t drill it to match the 2nd hole to make it more sturdy.

THIS POLE IS TOO SHORT!! It doesn’t extend for deep cleaning. If you just want to skim the top, it’ll work fine. If you plan to brush the bottom or collect the leaves on the bottom, this pole won’t cut it. It won’t reach 5 feet deep for sure. I had to fashion my pole I planned to replace to fit this net to use it. It does collect the leaves well on the bottom of the pool (IF YOU HAVE A DIFFERENT POLE TO USE!) And the net itself seems well made.

Not only was I happy to have purchased this version, make and model, but my spouse actually started cleaning the pool! I was actually looking for a less expensive (flat type) of skimmer screen, because we never had a lot of leaves in our pool. My focus was on finding a sturdier pole, as our pool is 16 ft, and the typical 8-12 ft poles would usually break just as the summer was ending.This model had EVERYTHING Ibwas looking for and MORE! And way less expensive than the smaller versions at the pool supply store! Plus, the edge of the frame, is actually slightly bent on purpose! This feature eases picking up leaves laying on the floor of the pool, as all you need to do is slide it and then you just turn it over and pull it back, without the need to lift the long pole! Because the net being a bag, and with a continuous motion, it's like working vacuum, and is way easier than even vacuuming! We are very satisfied!

You get what you pay for. The pole is very flimsy it feels like it’s going to snap every single time I use it. I got this because skimmers seem to be sold out in every store I’ve gone in and the one I found online doesn’t get here for a few more days. But I honestly don’t think this skimmer will last that long. The net part of the skimmer is ok. It’s the pole that sucks- it comes in 5 pieces that you put together and it feels like it’s going to snap any second. If you are looking for a cheap temporary skimmer or have no other options then this skimmer works you just have to be super careful with it and cross your fingers that it doesn’t snap.

I should have read the reviews before buying...The net itself is good and functional for skimming a small pool, which is what I needed. The problem is it seems the handle belongs to something else. There are two sets of holes in the net/head and there are two sets of holes in the handle, but they don;t line up so only one set of holes is used for the single plastic clip to hold them together. Even the plastic clip seems the wrong size for the job.If you're willing to get your drill out and dip into your tool bok for bolts, nuts and washers and fix this up yourselve then it all works fine.It's such a shame... For a few £ more this could have been made into a sturdy 5 star tool straight out of the box.

This is absolute trash. The head doesn't even fit on the pole properly so everytime you put in the pool the head falls off. Very poor quality and not fit for purpose. Do not waste time or money!

Net it’s self is good but It lasted 2 weeks as the plastic joins have broken now we have a net with no handle, that’s with normal use

Overall its a strong and sturdy net. The only issue is the plastic connector that holds the net and the pole together keeps "unclicking". So you would need to be careful when using it. it releases itself approximately 1 of 5 uses. But if you can tape that bit and make it more solid its a very strong net with a decent reach too

Excellent net which comes with a sturdy handle. It's a great size which can collect debris very quickly. I wish the mesh had slightly smaller holes. If the mesh was finer then I would definitely give 5 stars. I do recommend but you will need another finer skimming net for smaller bits.
